Seems many folks are in search of this elusive fur and after checking over a dozen fur sites as well as contacting I'mStuffedFur for some aid in the search, it appears no one has it any more. Last I checked the rule with Monterey Mills is if you wish for rust fur, you need to buy an order of 300 yards or more. That's roughly about 20 rolls of the stuff, over $5,000. Thankfully they have a 20% discount if you buy 11 or more yards, bringing the total cost down to $4610.40. I'm seeing more an more posts and am wondering how many people would be willing to chip in, even buy a roll or two, to raise enough to get this fur back into the community? I'm looking for folks that would be willing to purchase 5 or more yards, at $20 per yard. If you are sincerely interested, please put your name below and the amount and I will try to keep things updated.

As a rough idea, there's about 15 yards of fur to each roll. I can ship within the US or for an extra little bit ship internationally so all of you Canadian, UK and European furs can get some of this as well! US shipping of 5 yards will be about $15, international I believe it will be about $30.

I'm just about out of my stock and I've got a feeling some of y'all are getting low too by the number of fur search postings. I will keep this going a couple weeks for people to sign up and then see about how close we are. :)


We have so far claims for 166 out of the 300 yards of the fox fur in just a short time :D I'm going to do a little more contacting and see if we can get those last 134 yards claimed.

As curiously suggested by Familiar, I have contacted Mendels to see if they would be willing to do a limited run. Also as Beetlecat mentioned, they might only do it if they can get enough orders UP FRONT. I will post the reply if/when I get it.

Now, if they happen to decline I will try a couple other sites but in the meantime I will continue gathering interested parties and will be host if I need be. I do not have children, pets, or smoke and can provide a bug free area for the fur so nothing can get to it as well as keep it away from any mold-triggering moisture.

If I do make the full 300 yard order, here's how shipping will go:

USA orders:
1-4 yards will be about $13
5 yards will be about $15-20
10-15 yards will be at least $30 as I will be shipping nearly the entire roll to you.

Any more and we'll need to discuss shipping.
UPS and USPS is available for USA orders only.

International orders (cause we can't leave all y'all amazing furs out!)

I'm going to be reserving about 3-5 rolls for my own stock. If we can get enough I will most likely do this around the middle of September/start of October so that any Halloween suits needing to be made might have ample time to be made.
