Welll...Nice knowing everyone...

SO~! The housing inspector never showed up yesterday, but wrote it off as him arriving anyway. We both kept an eye out for him outside, for hours at a time, and nada.
Come today, where we start calling and complaning, appanly someone at housing tosses us the worse wrench yet...
Now, over a year ago, our building got forclosed on, but it got into receavership
so the back took over management, and we where not forced to move out. We informed housing of this when it happened, and they told us nothing on the matter.
Today though, they say because of it being forclosed on ( and as such no newly signed lease ) they will stop covering the rent here and force us to move to keep our voucher
That's been what I've been C&P'ing all day today towards anyone talking towards me. Shit has at last hit the critical point. I've dreaded something like this, and my mother's screaming at the heads of these organizations for anything, and we are only getting worse and worse treatment.
So yeah, now we are being forced to move. 'Oh? Moving at last? sounds wonderful!'. NO. It would be, but I don't think many people GET how freaking expensive moving is. Thanks to places requesting 3~6 months rent in advance, and then a deposit of anywhere between $1000~$2000, and THEN on top it off, fees for credit checks and the like that total between $100~$200 all together PER BUILDING WE CHECK.
...I can assure you, ASSURE you we can't meet this by our-self. Just to move into a place like we are in now so we can go back under subservience rent would cost over $5000 dollars. We only MAKE $560 a month. $560 a month thanks to my younger brother's disability check.
So, I'm at a fucking crossroad. Ether I can beg from you guys and plea and hope we can somehow, or within the next week or two, I'll be homeless.

Southern Californa was kinda bad at this as well.
Then again getting stuck in a high populated area with known high gang activity doesn't help. These places don't want poor people to move in, or people not making much in the way of income. So they'll do anything they can to strive off people moving in.
Wake the fuck up humanity. Any currency system does not and shall not EVER WORK. And this is just one example.
If you fail to realize this, let this be a lesson.
Including with how shelters nowadays are run, if we fall, we are permafucked.
Pretty much that, as I said a post higher up. I'm stuck in Chicago, IL, the CITY, not the suborubs or some side city in the 'chicagoland' area. The gang activty out here's pretty high, and the cops don't do much. Landlords don't fucking want that in their buildings, having to make consent window and door repairs because people keep breaking in destroying that shit.
It varies wildly by state, but like I said, there are rights that tenants have they don't usually realize.
It's not the Bank forcing us to move outright, it's HOUSING/SECTION 8. We live off of subserdised rent, it's the ONLY way a meesly $560 would even COVER rent to be honest, more less EVERYTHING ELSE. While the rent here is $900, we pay more say ~$100 of that our self. Though, due to the building being in foreclosure, they are removing that ordeal. This means next month, the rent expected to pay is the FULL $900. We can't even make that if we negged on paying on EVERYTHING ELSE. And even if you guys donated over $900 dollars, that just covers this month, not the next, and not the next AFTER. Am I to sit here and beg for $900 every month from you guys just to live?
If we move towards a different place, and get a new lease, section 8 will return to paying for most of the rent, and we can get back to just making due. SADLY moving in an of itself, including out here, is a HIGHLY costly matter. So we are pinned thanks to a ton of ordeals that only has two real options: we move and get back on section 8, or we stay, don't make rent, and get kicked out 15 days later.
I just know that often those in control of building lie about what is legally available to the residents.
The best of luck to you.
I'd help...but I'm still trying to pull enough money for rent and the blasted dental bill myself...
As I would have taken manual labor like that ages ago, when 20lbs gives you an arm strain, no one wants to hire you, more less any heavy winds and I'm a goner ( Chicago winds alone have attempted to push me into traffic, and I've had to literally grab a pole or just lay flat onto the ground to resist ).
If matching donations, so far the largest was $100 from Conbadger.
I'm sorry to hear this bud, I really wish there was something I could do to help
