Now anyone who knows me knows anything I do is nothing because when compared to say this, it's nothing, so I'd like to do something for once I consider to be something for me to do.

Long story short, my friend needs about 5,000 dollars in two weeks or they'll be living on the streets. (unless someone can also magically have a home for him and his immediate family which is 3 people in the Chicagoland area)

Seeing I don't have 5 grand to help my friend, I decided to take what money I have and attempt to raise enough money to help him out. Starting today and ending two Fridays from now, I will be holding a charity raffle where the grand prize is any commission you want, from any artist you want (that's open to take commissions), with the only requirement it's a drawn commission and that the value of the commission can't exceed the value of what money I raise for my friend.

The raffle will be a step raffle, meaning the more money I raise the more prize money there will be.

After the first 250 raised, after that there will be 25 dollar cash prize as well. After the 500 dollar mark, every other 250 dollar mark 25 dollars will be added to one of the existing cash prizes.

IE, 250 dollar mark hit, 25 dollar prize, 500, 2, 25 dollar prizes 750 1 50 1 25, 1000 1 50, 2 25, ect.

Now if any artists wish to donate their skills to help add to the prize pool or raise money to donate to the raffle that would be great.

Please do what you can to donate and help my friend, even 1 ticket is 1 dollar closer to the goal. Spread the word if you can as well, I'd be very appreciative. For those who know me and say planned to get me anything this year, take that money you would have used for that and use it here for the charity drive, I'd be more grateful that way. Anything and everything would be helpful. Those who buy tickets will have their FA names listed down here (unless preferred hidden then will be refereed by alias the decide)

To enter the raffle send me a note of how many tickets you want, and I'll give you my paypal information to gift/donate the money to my account. If you send it normally paypal will take a cut, and I will only count full dollars for each ticket. If you want to be a contributing artist, send me a note as well, and what you want to do for the raffle, and what level of prize you'd want to be.

I never done one of these before, and I hope that this does well not for my sake, but for a very good person and fur who needs our help right now. Thank you all. Also below will keep a going track of the current prizes. At the end of the two weeks I'll post a journal of the winners.

Also seems  kennifox has offered his services to help, and will grant the winner a Second life avatar commission. (If I read his note correctly) Though it won't be able to be done till 2013 first quarter due to the fact he's in the navy and out at sea. ^^ I will make that a grand prize as well, and have the winner/s of the grand prizes pick which one they want. So someone who doesn't play SL won't get stuck with a SL commission, ect.

Price per ticket 1 dollar per.

Grand Prize: Anything you want commission
