emergency commissions (student loan related)

so. you guys might have noticed i didn't do the end of the month donation thing last month. i felt bad doing it because i'd had so little time to work on commissions and whatnot, and well.
i thought we'd be okay. we budgeted carefully and took money out of savings for mortgage. we changed our diet down to bare bones. which made me drop some weight but hey what can you do doctors say the bloodwork is sound so i'm not worried.
but we're not. i wound up being three days late on my student loans, which for some reason seemed to double how much i had to pay. i...don't understand why, but i do understand now i'm screwed. i had enough to pay my normal loans (138) and then try to make it back over the week. i did not have enough to pay almost double that (260) and now i'm
worried
really worried
so please, if you're able to consider a commission, now would be a great time. flat colour commissions are the fastest for me to do right now, and also moderately cheap (16$).
you can see the prices on the rest here.
i also won't turn down donations or tips. i'll be happy to do a pencil sketch for you if you tip me 1$ or more, y'know? my paypal is cial[at]deathsticks.org
please help me out you guys, i really am kind of boned right now.

i'll begin right this second.
i don't think pasting the URL will work, but if you scroll down on my site to the picture of the blackhaired guy holding a sign that says 'please tip' and click it, there's an option right on the screen for "don't have paypal?" and a bunch of logos. i imagine clicking that will let you use something else.
Thanks!
There's probably a way, though. I'm not too good with tech, unfortunately. Well...I hope to start a PayPal account by the end of the year...so maybe I'll be able to commission you once I get that started.
ive got my self a part time job and hopefully i can pay you for more arts when i get paid XD
I was recently shown mint.com, designed as a way to do an automatic budget based on your spending habits and income amounts.
Same guys that make turbotax, quickbooks and all of those other tax programs did this as a free service.
You enter in your account info and it tracks it for a month or two, then will write up a recommended budget on a weekly or daily basis.
You can even set up goals like getting a new set of markers, and it will tell you how much you need to save to make it by a certain date.
It's a read-only kind of site, so you can't use it to move money around, and it uses 128-bit encryption as well.
Quick review of it here: http://artofmanliness.com/2012/08/1.....eate-a-budget/ (about half way down)
Just something I saw that might help you out a bit. Oh, and I'll try to send some cash as well.
it was that when the clock ticked over to september 1st, my student loan payment was due. that was a weekend, and a holiday weekend, and i thought it would be okay to wait until the 4th before sending it. unfortunately when i logged in today i was greeted with a message stating my account was 3 days delinquent. and though it said there had been no fees, when i went to pay the bill, it was 260$ instead of 138$.
so either my loan payment per month unexpectedly went up (which it should not have, i locked the rate in some time ago) or there was a fee - a fee of almost an entire month's payment.
since it's sallie mae i don't expect answers to be particularly forthcoming. and the intelligent thing to do was to pay first and ask questions later so it didn't become more delinquent and acrue more fees. which no matter how you slice it still leaves me almost 130$ more in the hole than i had initially planned for.
but i used up my month-ahead buffer last month because like i said above - financial issues all month.
the best laid plans, etc.

at one point i blogged about how a classmate's writing was really awful and she googled herself (she was quite vain) and made such a fuss about the post that the english department actually threatened to withhold my credits for that class. because i said her writing was bad. on the internet. we actually had to threaten with legal action in order to get past that one.
I wanna go to TUJ, just cuz I tired of this place and wanna go travel the world and stuff ;c
all her writing followed a very weak pattern which she was obviously unaware of. it'd go BLAHBLAH-ING BLAH, BLAH BLAH BLAH.
like
opening the door, she thought about going to work.
walking to her car, she took out her keys.
putting her keys in the lock, she remembered her coffee.
running back to the house, she grabbed the mug from the counter.
climbing into the car, she began her drive to work five minutes late.
HER ENTIRE BODY OF WRITING WAS LIKE THIS. every sentance, every paragraph, all the time. it was intolerable. she also attempted to write a 'vermont' accent into her characters that seriously sounded southern.
Mewwww .n. I once went to vermont when I was little, but I forgot what the sound like, but it was different then how we talk in Texas ;c
