Free Headshot of YOUR Character
Important Stuff below, read that. So, I think I need to get the word out on this whole commission thing. So, here is the deal. I need opinions on what people would commission from me, and who doesn't want some free art?
So, I need YOU, my dear watchers, to pimp me out.
What you need to do:
Comment with:
1. Link to the journal or picture where you pimped me out.
2. Ref of whichever character you want your head shot done of.
Now, For those who will, tell me here, or in a private note, what you would commission from me if you could, and at what sort of price! I am not open for all commissions yet, but I hope to get enough responses so that I can get a general idea of what my work is worth and what people want!
Also Sharpie commissions are indeed still open, follow this link, if you are interested: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3809799/

Done.
Now about commissions. I don't normally like getting commissions because I don't sit well with the idea of paying people to draw my characters, at least not until I can confidently do so myself (though I may buy a ref sheet from someone at some point because what kinda furfaggot would I be without one of those?). Free art is fine with me.
I would most likely ask for a simple picture of one or two of my characters standing around looking cool. That's about it, yeah.
I'm going to compile a few headshots (hopefully) onto one sheet, but I already have yours drawn :3
However looking through your gallery I do see some color and it isn't bad at all. based on that, I'd suggest maybe trying to get more color work up front, so that if someone is looking for a colored piece they would be more inclined to take a serious look at choosing you to commission it from.
also: i almost no backgrounds. not necessarily the worst thing, but it'd certainly encourage more business if you were capable of offering fully rendered illustrations(even with really simple backgrounds) and not just characters in white space or whatever.
I do see a fair amount of dynamic posing in your gallery but not exactly a lot of action, if that makes sense. It looks like you are certainly capable of conveying action and dynamics, i think it just isn't strongly reflected in your posted work.
that said: what i would probably ask for would i think be either a character or two engaged in some kind of activity(be it platonic or hot sexins') OR a reference sheet, as it is clear you can handle showing different poses and emotions and whatnot.
for the former, I'd say probably 20-40 bucks depending on amount of characters and the content of the image(color or not, background or not, for something full color and shaded with a background more like 40-50) and for the latter, i'd say probably about 50, in that area.
ultimately my main suggestion would be to try and get more color and dynamic action up front in your gallery, along with getting more backgrounds into pictures as a secondary objective so to speak.
annd here be a journo pimpin' yo shit out gurrl! http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3829076/
I'm going to compile the headshots onto one sheet hopefully, so when I have a few more, I'll get the first sheet posted :3
again, thanks very much!!!
Here you go!
And you have the refs in my note.
I don't do commissions myself...I'm a photographer. But....
From the people that I commission from varies from one artist to another. It all depends on how far you want to go? (G-XXX) But you would have to make clear on stuff that you would and would not do, and be careful of the grey areas. Comics can be fun and a pain at the same time, because they are time consuming but worth it too. Pricing depend on what you think is fair.
I have always liked your work and would like to see more colored and a comic type (multiple panel) drawings.
