UPDATE: Aug 3, 2014
Right now, my convention options are slim because I don't have a job... Still I have two possibilities towards the end of the year
I tend to go for a minimalist amounts when I list here, the minimums I need to get there plus maybe one extra. So if I raise more than this, then I will get to do fun things like go out to eat, or by a commission.
I have been to every Seattle Furry convention save one back in 2010, because i had to work. It always seem that I have the money, but not to the time, or the time but not the money. Right now, I am in the latter category. However, I am going to try and do what I did two years ago, which is to show up for one day, maybe two.
If you want help me out with getting me there or have room crash space for me, let me know. I will be willing to pay, and all I need is a place to inflate my air mattress to lay on and I am good.
I need about $300 to make it worth my while to just show up, but really if I am going to fully enjoy myself, $500 would be best.
The local mini-con (or super meet) is back once more that is in the same convention Hotel as VancouFur. I have been to every one of these as well, save one (again work). I am 99.44% sure I will be here as the con hotel is a 15 min drive. It's just a one day event, and most of the stuff that happens, I don't take part in, but I like to show up and draw. Last year I worked on badges for people who asked.
This one is the easiest on my wallet too, as it is just $20 to get in, $20 for a T-shirt (because I like the teeshirts) and $10 for parking, and because it is local, I don't need crash space, but I might avail myself if the offer comes up and I have the funds.
Because there is NO SELLING at Howl, I usually just find a corner and just draw... So if you help me out get to HOWL, and you will be there, feel free to come and ask me to draw for you.
The local convention still a long ways off, but the one I want to go to the most. VF is in the same hotel as Howlowe'en, so again, getting there is easy for me, but I still need to get in. More than likely, I will be sharing a Dealer's Den Table with
deerock-gorilla; we have end up at each other's table the last 3 years.
VF has always been one of my better conventions for sales and productivity, so I would love to go again.. but I have quiet sometime to gather the funds I need, and if I don't end up going to the previously listed conventions, I will put the $$ raised towards this one.
I might try other conventions if I can get the funds, but for now these are the closest 3 to me.

Tell you what, for this, I am willing to do you a free sketch or something if you like.
Just make sure you get me your details in advance and remind me the night before.
ALSO, if you want to get some Canadian stuff to take home, we do it Thursday night!

If You are taking GREYHOUND, get off at Coquitlem Station, it is a 10 min drive from my house and a 15 min drive to the con hotel. If you are taking the train or QuickShuttle, then I will see you at the Vancouver station again.

Also, you mind sending me your cell phone number?
