Moxie Ace Dewalt, 6 lb even, 19 inches, born at 7:24 am Sept 17th. :)

After such a crappy pregnancy and the loss of Milo prior to it, I am very relieved to have just had the easiest birth ever. Spent most of it laughing my ass off with  rdewalt ,  sirfox , Efrain, and Sam. Best epidural ever; could feel all the intensity of the contractions with almost no pain. Felt what actual, natural contractions are supposed to feel like, not Pitocin-induced ones.. what a difference! My body decided to take care of most of the delivery on its own, and the doctor just made it on time!

She's currently in the NICU getting looked over for some breathing issues and low glucose levels, but she should be fine. She's about three weeks early and my having GD means her blood sugar needs to be watched carefully now, so I'm pretty sure she'll be fine and this is all precautionary. Arty's with her, I'm sure he'll be back with an update soon.

Speaking of GD, I got the OK to eat normally again! I just had pancakes with syrup and chocolate milk and it was frikkin' FABULOUS, you guys have no idea.
