i did those as freebies in my streams recently, and i probably won't be doing that again for a while (mostly because i can't often afford to do free art, since i need to focus on commissions because money is always tight). so if anyone wants one (or more) and couldn't get them while i was doing freebies, they're only $3 each. all i need is a character reference and an expression/mood for them. also! they don't have to be anthro characters. they can be anthro, feral, random creature things...they just can't really be human, cuz that would just look weird XP (nekos and such MIGHT work, just know that i don't add clothes so they'll just be a skin-colored blob with ears and a tail)

but yeah. so those are $3 a piece.

second thing! the other night after i made the last batch, i was thinking..."they look so HUGGABLE!" so...why not MAKE them huggable?!?! right? so i'm now figuring out with a friend how to make PotatoSackChibi PLUSHIES!!! (sorry for all the caps; i'm excited) it'll probably be a while til any more information comes out about that, but i wanted to share my excitement with you all.

aaaaaand commissions should be opening soon. i'm thinking autumn/Halloween themes, to be done by Oct 31st. more info on that later.

hehe i got it and i'm working on them now ^_^ i'm glad you're excited about the plushies! i have no idea how much they would be, but i have a friend who knows a lot about making clothes and things like that so i'm super excited! i want to make them in different sizes too! the only issues right now being the best way to make the markings *nod*

true true. I would be willing to pay $30 for a full on hug sized one (like 12 inches or so in height, dunno about width) and $15 for a 6 in handheld cutie. OF COURSE I would buy two, one for my 'sona and one for my hubby ^_^. heh heh. Markings would be a little tougher to figure out, but might not be too hard depending on the character. Fabric paint or marker (probably better) for small small details, sewn in colored fabric for the large markings. Making a template would help BIG TIME. this would be HELLA cute!!!!!

hehehe <3 your excitement makes me more excited!! i was thinking a small 6", a medium ~15", and then a large super huggable pillow-size of about 25". i'll definitely have a template! gotta keep a nice consistent shape and quality ^_^ and paint or airbrushing are on the list for small/complex markings

yay!!!! 15" would be perfect!! how adorable would that be as a 6 year anniversary gift (in May)? lol My hubby's not a furry but he gets a litle excited when we talk about what his character is going to look like (in the process of trying to get it made. Ever since I met him and married him in Japan he's always been my kuma, my big bear, teehee). It's so much process of him accepting and understanding over the years ^_^

anyway! lol Sounds like you guys are brainstorming awesomely! If you go through with it you know you have one customer already ^_^

that's awesome! my ex isn't a furry either, but we still had fun with the idea of him being a fossa XP his nickname has has been "Kitty" forever and he's a little weasel, lol. so i figured a cat/weasel would be a fossa! it's so cool to find such wonderful accepting people ^_^

i'll definitely let you know if we get everything solidified!

y'know, that would actually be really cool. a "cover" for a beanbag chair instead of making a whole beanbag chair from scratch? if you want to do that, it's fine ^_^ as long as you don't call it a "PotatoSack" and/or sell it, i have no control over that haha. have fun!

You know what would be easier than trying to do full body stuff of markings? If you actually used an almost potato sack cloth for the main body, and then made the heads and tails out of special cloth etc. It'll cut down on the amount of time taken and then really could be called tato sack plushies.

but then they wouldn't be "PotatoSackChibis" and they wouldn't be huggable(potato sacks are made of a really rough material), which is the whole reason for making them plushies

Actually not all are made of rough material o3o Maybe some of the really old ones are, but they've started using some other stuff that isn't so harsh on the hands. But that's up to you, it's just going to take you a lot more time and a lot more materials that way~

hmm...i have only seen rough ones and mesh ones. but...i still want them to be as plush and snuggly as possible, and i won't feel they are special with only custom ears and tail.
