Furry Fuel Kickstarter suspended

Heyas all -
I woke up to finding that Furry Fuel has been suspended. I sent them off an email asking why. Waiting on a response.

So, apparently a day ago, Kickstarter opened up their version of a trouble ticket with the following message:
"Our community guidelines specify that fundraising for energy drinks is prohibited (http://www.kickstarter.com/help/guidelines). Because your project contains one or more of these, it will be suspended within 24 hours of this notice, unless you elect to cancel it yourself. It is recommended that you alert your backers of this situation via direct message or by posting an update.

Somehow, I was not alerted to this message. At all. Zero, zilch, zip. Now, I'm fairly certain when I checked the guidelines when I first opened my account a few months ago that energy drinks weren't on there, but...
If they are, they are. No appealing that. I'm just wondering A) Why did Kickstarter approve my project in the first place, and B) Why didn't I actually get alerted by that message.
.....well, oh well.

Here is hoping it becomes a full-fledged product.
However, I hit 965 ont he Kickstarter before it got canceled. I'm certain people would be interested in it still :3

I remember seeing energy drinks there a while back when I read the rules, so its not a new thing.
The taking pre-orders through Google checkout idea is probably better, since it prevents people from putting up some crazy amount and then not having it when the project gets funded. Furries seem to do this a bit more than other groups.
