I used to work at Big Lots, and I hated how we started stocking Christmas merchandise (starting with Christmas lights) in mid August. AUGUST!!!

Christmas is one of my two favorite holidays of the year (the other being Halloween), and there are many things I love about what it represents. However, the flagrant materialism that strives to overtake it every year in our society is one thing I don't appreciate as much. It's funny how SO MANY people complain about Christmas being too commercial each year, but the commercialism of the holiday never wanes.

When I was working retail, it was bad, but as time went on.. it just seemed to get worse and worse. My boss sayin' "Oh..time to put up the xmas stuff." And I'm like "It's only September WTF?!?!"

There was a Charlie Brown cartoon where he was going around trying to sell Christmas wreaths and everyone he tried to sell to said, "It isn't even Thanksgiving yet." Eventually, stores will will just go full circle. 'Prepare for Christmas in January.'

Do you have a list of topics you've already covered for 4B?

I've actually been thinking of redoing a couple of episodes from my podcasts and turn them in to a Vlog. Not exactly sure yet, I'm still experimenting.
