This is all good and well but this could end up like Mega Man Legends 3; everyone wants it but in the end there isn't enough interest for it to happen.

Lack of interest had nothing to do with it. The massive backlash from the cancellation proved that. Most people think it was a combination of two things. Capcom not really liking the idea of non staff seeing so much of how things work behind the scenes, and their seemingly not knowing what to do with Megaman without Inafune's direct involvement. Seeing has how their idea of a 25th anniversary game is a iOS game no one actually cares about, they really don't seem to know.

Oh yeah, there's also a rumor that Capcom only has the game on hold, an are actually waiting to see if the 3DS dual analog attachment takes off.

I believe that when Capcom makes the announcement.

Capcom done this once, asking for fans to sign a petition to create Mega Man Legends 3, after completion Capcom said NOPE! when fans asked why they stated " it was the fans job to make the game" What do you mean, was we supposed to be in the dev room making it? "yes"

I don't want Capcom to remake resident evil 2, and in fact I want them to just move onto some new series of games because they have a nasty habit of killing franchises now.

There wont be a Legends 3 because Megaman just had his birthday, and got nothing but a art book and sound track, even the creator is gone.

yeah the mas cancelatiosn happend after he left, and same has happend to RE franchise the orginal creator went and left as he got fed up.

and that is my concern of remake allso as i get a sneeking suspishion they recycle RE5/6 engein and make it play in same manner with coop, se darkside chronicels and you understand.
