future and spy sound like fun, but gun doesn't fit. my reference is a mesh object. the waling stick does things that make guns obsolete, as do those things worn on his wrists and the circuitry in the belt that holds up his kilt. then there are the miniature robotics that ride around in gravity repulsion eyes and on robotic electric lawn tractors with hydraulic arms that double as legs to climb over things. protected by energy fields that deflect and oblate anything resembling a bullet or an arrow, at the same time.

people do still try to use guns of course. this is unfortunate, for them. glowing hot gun-barrels deform, this makes them somewhat dysfunctional, and even unfired, cause 3rd degree burns to hands that don't as a result, drop them quickly enough.

spy isn't about force. its about elan, and impeccable research. it's not called intelligence for nothing. although granted sometimes you do have to wonder.
those semi-mythical double oh agents weren't spy's. those are assassins, which is a whole 'nother ball game. those are the ones with the guns. usually subcontractors, rather then inside the company, and seldom the best way of doing things.

the power bands on the wrists, when moved a certain way in relation to each other, project a knock out beam. the belt, if you're curious, is a psionic amplification and tuning device. ordinary small furred, feathered and scaled creatures, being naturally psionic themselves, can be wonderfully useful allies at times. as well and as much as all the technology. camileon cloak is also part of the standard kit.

Wow, that's a really in-depth concept for a character. It's not quite what I had in mind for this project, but still thanks for submitting.
