So as some of you may or may not know, as of last week, the chances of me making it to FF this year were slim. For those of you who don't know, I've been spending roughly 30 hours per week with my dad, rewiring my entire house. Mind you, this is on top of the normal 40-hour work week that I put in at Big Blue computer company; so yes, I've been working about 70 hours per week for the last month, hoping that I'll be done in time to go to FF.

Anyway, the latest is that I might actually be able to go to FF! Things are moving along at a decent pace and my dad and I are going to be working all day Saturday and Sunday to get as much done as possible. Granted, it is my house and I could very easily just fuck off for the weekend and go to FF anyway, but there's a certain amount of responsibility that comes with being a homeowner. The decision to possibly turn down FF has always been mine to make.

One thing is for certain, I am now beginning to understand why the electrician quoted us $10,000 for this job; it sucks. Luckily, when you put money into a house, you generally get the value back when you sell it (unlike a car, which is the worst possible investment you could make).
