Kudos to anyone who got the Futurama reference

So I've been debating adding a VIP rewards program for a loooong time, and I finally figured out a simple one that I like.

How to join:
Make a single purchase of at least $10 worth of merchandise to become a VIP member. This first purchase will earn 1 point per dollar spent (see exclusions below).

Point Earning:
Once you're a VIP member, you get the VIP rates:
Spend up to $49 in a single purchase and get 1 Point per Dollar.
Spend between $50 in a single purchase and $99 and get 2 Points per Dollar.
Spend $100 or more in a single purchase and get 3 Points per Dollar.

This includes: regular shipping fees (default U.S. shipping option for your order), tips, donations, and giftcard purchases.

This does not include: upgraded shipping fees (faster, 'fancier', or foreign shipping options), paypal purchase fees, non-monetary payments (item/art trades, raffles, giftcard redemption, etc), and sales tax (applicable in CA only).

Point Redemption:
1 point = 1 cent, redeemable on future purchases.


Point Specials:
Sometimes I'll offer bonus points for certain items or purchases during certain promotional times, such as double point weekends or extra points on dice bag purchases.

Sometimes I'll offer bonus points for certain events or actions, such as meeting me at Anime Expo or winning a game or competition I offer.


Restrictions:
Some items won't allow for point redemption towards their purchase. This is rare, but possible, so please keep an eye out for this on certain items, such as empty bottle pendants, or other small & wholesale parts. VIP points also can not be used to pay shipping costs.

Also, my shop on Storenvy doesn't allow for this, and neither does the automated ordering system I have set up on my website, so if you want to redeem your points on a purchase, please order directly through me and I'll give you a personalized total. To redeem VIP points on a purchase, place your order directly through me. I will not refund point values through paypal if you order through the automated system. Why? Because excess refunds make them red flag your paypal account.



Points will be manually calculated by me, since I have a low enough sales volume for this to be a reasonable method. I will keep track of your points in an excel spreadsheet (I've been an excel fanatic since high school), but feel free to keep track of your points as well. If you ever think my total is wrong, feel free to explain why you think so. I use paypal records to ensure my numbers should always be correct though, so unless I just forgot, your total should always be accurate in my spreadsheet.

Points will not automatically be redeemed, you need to tell me that you wish to redeem them on a particular purchase. Hence the bit about placing your order directly with me. :3



And just a note: This does apply retroactively. If you've purchased items from me in the past, shoot me a note or a response here so I can add your points to the list. I already have Flippant Moniker and Ziaki's purchases, but I think I'm forgetting a couple people.
