Thanksgiving is only a couple of weeks away, so turkey-themed cartoons are on the menu:
Though we can't be certain, it's possible that the Hays Office insisted on changing the ending by causing the studio to add the last 15 seconds of this cartoon -- what do you think?

Whatever happened to the animation from this studio? Failure to advertise and market as well as the others?
The ending did make it something of a Shaggy Dog story - "I fool him this way every Thanksgiving!" Really? Then again, the antagonist was basically a human Katnip, so that's certainly possible!
