are these collars like. actual dog collars? sorry if that's a stupid question but I think I want to get one for my dog! I have a pit mix so I would definitely need an actual collar for a dog and not a human made one :)

I love that book.. was definitely helpful back in the day.

Yeah, I know... it's so specialized, from a publisher perspective it's probably hard to justify. I've tried to ask the publisher about financing such a thing and being a go-to dealer with half a print run... but I think they do print runs in small batches on-demand. They know the craft has advanced somewhat, and stuff like types of glue that are better than they had some years ago, so they're aware of the possibility to update. Anyways, the core info is basic and good to have all in one package. Until someone comes out with a coffee table book of how-tos plus a gallery of the best of modern maker's work, it's a good basic thing to have access to. A coffee table book for fursuiting would be so awesome though.

I'm a printer, too. If you ever do update this book, drop me a line. I do short run digital, though I do not do hardbacks. Snap knows me and my work.

Ahh... I'm justa dealer and don't have any rights to update and/or control a print run... I'm just on the lookout to finance such things if the opportunity happens. (Like, I'd pay for a big chunk of producing a book if I could stock it and deal it in an economically-viable way... furry is not a niche with many opportunities like that though. This book, sure... Furry X's fanfic-novel starring Furry-X and the cast of star trek, not so much.)

BUT I'm working on some actual creative content as a business thing tooo.

Well, if you ever need any advice on layout or any technical printing stuff, feel free to ask.

Dec. 29 was right between xmas and new year's... I meant to get it out fast, but I also needed holiday time... my business got piled up and I had to do a lot of catch-up. (I usually handle 100+ orders a week for my book business and get very little personal time off!) Took time to help all of the many people I have to service... Hi! I definitely have collars. If you pay fast, I should be able to pack Friday night and ship Saturday. I use First Class mail (3-5 business days for delivery) so it would arrive before the 9th. My next mailing goes out on Wednesday the 6th, so the delivery date would be March 9-11. Payment details above. :)

Sorry it took me a while to get to this! I flipped thru the book. Care tips are very general (there's a few pages under the "travel and storage" chapter.) I think the full book is a pretty comprehensive introduction to fursuiting and building, but for very up to date and detailed info on care, you can probably find the best info by searching web tutorials. Hope that helps!
