CONTACT:
★ i will respond to commissioners by either notes here on fa, or my email, narcolepticquail[at]aim.com though the former is preferred.
★ lost contact (3+ months of unresponsiveness towards sent notes or emails) will result in a refund, minus the work that may have already been completed.
★ the commissioner will be kept updated if there are any delays. (I always make sure to do so)
★ i have no tolerance for harassment of any kind, therefore if i feel that a commissioner is being abusive/annoying, their commission will be instantly cancelled and refunded for any work that isn't completed.
★ i have the right to deny you service, for any reason.
PAYMENT:
★ payments will be made via paypal to the address solania[at]live.com in USD. do NOT send commission payments as gifts, please mark the payment as payment owed, and for services.
★ payment is due within 42 hours after confirmation. if the payment is not received, the commission will be cancelled.
★ the commissioner pays full up front, unless it is a larger project, then i will accept half or installments. if that is the case, i will discuss it with the commissioner- commissions are not started past the sketch stage if payment is not received.
★ the commissioner is allowed a total of 3 free edits to their piece, any edits afterwards charge an extra fee.
GIFTS
★ if you are getting a gift for someone, i require written permission to use their character. this goes for both sfw and nsfw works.
★ if you are not honest in telling me an art piece is a gift for someone, you will be unable to commission me in the future.
REFUNDS:
★ you cannot ask for a refund after a sketch has been completed, it is my choice whether to refund you or not after the sketch stage. you can, however, ask for a refund before anything is done. if you're unsure, please ask.
★ i always have the right to cancel a commission and issue refunds if i have to.
THE COMMISSIONER:
★ receives a basic sketch preview, both before or after payment, usually after.
★ does not receive the SAI/PSD file or any files with layers, you are given a flattened image, and the SAI/PSD is to never touch your hands unless i say so.
★ cannot edit my work unless i give you explicit permission to do so. ask before assuming.
THE COMMISSION:
★ will not be redone after completion, as redo's are NOT applicable to commissions*
*custom adoptables are the only types of commissions that i will redo, the design will either be put up for sale, or i may keep it. you no longer have the rights to the previous design/character when an adoptable is being redone for you.
★ depending on the subject matter, certain commissions will have a drastic change in time completion. nsfw commissions are estimated to take longer, while sfw commissions are done quickly.
SUBJECT MATTER CAN CONTAIN...
-any gender
-any species, preferred is kemonomimi/human
-any sexual preference (het/homo)
-any non exaggerated body type (ex. slight muscle in comparison to bara men)
-sfw or nsfw content
-soft fetishes* (bondage, s/m, biting...)
-potentially offensive content (shota/loli, pedophilia, incest, vore, guro, asphyxiation)
-dark themes in general (suicide, self harm, violence, murder)
SUBJECT MATTER CANNOT CONTAIN...
-bestiality
-feral porn
-animal genitalia
-babies/babyfur
-extreme fetishes* (scat, inflation)
-my characters with yours (nsfwor sfw. Unless you are a friend)
-fanart**
*please inquire if you're unsure the fetish is either soft or extreme, as i realize it's extremely subjective.
**i can't draw fanart as freely as i can other people's characters, because i feel uneasy drawing 'popular things'. there are some fandoms i will draw, so if you're interested, feel free to ask, but it's very limited. obviously, supernatural is one of the exceptions.
A FEW THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:
★ i do not work on a solid day by day schedule, my schedule for the most part is spontaneous and randomly placed. i do most work on the weekends and holiday breaks, however.
★ i also do not work in a particular order of commissioners.
★ while i do keep most of my commissions, and art in general backed up, there are times when computers break. in that case, please make sure to always have your commissions saved in various spots, because i can assure you there will be times where i no longer have access to certain files.
★ please understand that i do have a life outside of the internet due to school and, well, real life issues. i will complete the commissions the best of my ability- but delays are always possible. in the case of delays, do not bother or harass me about your commission- i will keep you updated. if i find that you are being too obnoxious about your commission, i will cancel the commission and refund the difference of what has yet to be completed.
* i dislike being rushed, i like to do things in my own free time, not when you say so; being rushed just discourages me from doing the artwork and it does NOT help me do your commission any faster.
REPOSTING:
★ i don't mind if you repost to an art site (fa, da, furocity) or something AS LONG AS I AM ALWAYS CREDITED AND LINKED BACK TO.
★ please do NOT post my work on boorus or sites that you cannot give credit on.
RIGHTS
★ I OWN ALL COPYRIGHTS TO EVERY SINGLE PIECE. if you really want the rights to the image, you will have to pay professionally for it, otherwise you do not hold the rights to the commissioned artwork, and never will. the art is not to be distributed/reused/sold without my permission and the rights transferred. this means, i have the right to distribute/sell works of any kind, including commissioned pieces as prints and so on and so forth.
PLEASE ALSO NOTE THERE ARE CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES THAT SOME OF THESE RULES DO NOT APPLY DEPENDING ON THE COMMISSIONER OR SITUATION AT THE TIME.
