Bringing my Auto Lockout tools to FC 2013
13 years ago
TL;DR at bottom.
ALRIGHT so HERE IS THE DEALIO. I need the practice, and you don't want to pay all the money to call a local San Jose Locksmith- and I don't know about you but I've never had AAA quote me less than an hour and a half ETA.
So, I'm bringing my Z-tool kit to San Jose with me.
What does this mean for you?
Well- it means a furry on-site who can break into your car if you accidentally lock your keys inside. (Most of us have done it at least once, it happens- especially when you've got so much other stuff on your plate, like checking into or out of a hotel.)
I'll be in the Dealer's Den most of the time, at Table 34, under Tix-N-Roo, so I'll be easy to find.
I'll be there pretty much the whole con- from Thursday (probably night) to Sunday at least until the Art Show and Dealer's Den close.
It sill cost 20$ if it's in the parking lot/s attached to the convention center/hotels and more if i have to walk more than maybe a block away to get to your car.
You'll be able to reach me at (858) 859-3256 DURING THE CON ONLY- that phone number does not currently forward to anywhere and will not until Thursday the 17th of January.
During the Con, the number will only be active between 9:00 am and 9:00 PM- It's a working con, for me, and I need my sleep.
I also currently only have a lockout manual that goes up to model year 2006. When you call I will tell you if I can break into that car or not, or wether I am willing to try. (Sometimes there is a major window breakage risk that I am not willing to take.)
You WILL need your ID and proof of ownership of the car. (I understand that those things may be inside the car. if you can't provide it upon entry or I get a bad feeling about you, I WILL lock you back out of the car to protect my own ass. Sorry, but I'm not helping you steal shit. I'll also lock you back out if you don't pay me.)
TL;DR
Furry is a Licensed locksmith, will help you break into your car if things go awry.
It costs 20$, more if your car is parked far away.
Phone number is (858) 859-3256, from arrival to 9pm thursday, 9am-9pm Friday and Saturday, and 9AM to close sunday.
You can also find me in the Dealer's Den at table 34, "Tix-N-Roo"
Have your ID (state driver's license or passport) on you and make sure that there is registration/insurance WITH YOUR NAME ON IT in the vehicle.
Can Probably only do model years up to 2006, but will change this journal if I get a hold of a newer Lockout Manual.
