Commission information
13 years ago
Since I got my hours cut I am going to try to make up for the financial loss by taking commissions. No longer do I have a limit to how many commissions I take unless I feel it's too many but it won't get to that point I am sure xD
I still owe commissions, I know. I work on them a bit randomly. I know it's awful to do that. But I promise you they will never take longer that a couple months to complete. OTL I just like to work on them when I am inspired to do so, because I don't want to give out crap art x.x
I have decided to start using a tier pricing. (stole this whole pricing thing from a friend shhhh I'm too lazy to type up my own and they did it perfectly so. Like seriously.)
"Sketch
Headshot = $2
Bust = $5
Full body = $8
Lineart
Headshot = $3
Bust = $5
Full body = $10
Color
Headshot = $2
Bust = $5
Full body = $8
Shading
Headshot = $2
Bust = $5
Full body = $10
So like each is added on to the tier below it. Like if I want a flat color headshot I would have to way the headshot sketch, lineart, and color tiers. If you don't understand what I am saying then just tell me what you want and I will tell you the price. I am currently not offering backgrounds as I don't feel confident enough in doing them to sell them for anything. Price varies only with complexity of the character you are asking for. Now back to copy paste!
"ADDITIONAL ELEMENTS
Additional elements are particular qualities, effects or additions to an otherwise standard commission involving a single, stationary character.
Additional Characters
Headshot = +25% of total price
Bust = +50% of total price
Full body = +100% of total price
*per character
Additional Poses
Headshot = see headshot tier prices
Bust = see bust tier prices
Full body = see full body tier prices
*for use in requests such as reference sheets, each pose/headshot
will be treated as an additional drawing and added to the total based on the pricing above.
Animated Elements
Headshot = +50% of total price
Bust = +50% of total price
Full body = +100% to 200% of total price
*animated elements may include: blinking or ear flicking, animated glows, swishing tails,
animated effects such as tears or rain, or animated color changes. Pricing will be subject
to variation, depending on what is desired.
RULES AND RESTRICTIONS
- All payments must be handled via Paypal. I am sorry but I no longer accept snail mail and hard cash. Too much money gets lost in the post that way.
- I do accept all species of subject. I will draw humans, I will draw dinosaurs, I will draw anthros, I will draw ferals, I draw horses, fantasy creatures, reptiles and so on.
- I do reserve the right to display your commission publicly if necessary. I will generally be very accommodating, if you would like your commission to remain private, but you must state so in your request. Otherwise, assume that I will display it somewhere as part of my artistic career and personal progress report.
- I do reserve the right to deny or cancel a commission at any time. A cancellation will warrant a full refund for progress not already completed. So, if I cancel a commission after the sketch stage, I will keep the payment for the sketch and refund all extra. Similarly, if you the requester need to cancel a commission, I will only refund what has not been started, so do be aware of that.
- I require each payment up front and in full. Meaning, if you request more than a sketch, you must at least pay me for the sketch tier before I begin drawing. Then you must pay for the next tier before I begin that stage of production and so on and so forth until completion. I will make an attempt to check with you at every stage of production to make sure your commission is to your liking and, if at any time you wish to view your commission in progress, I will comply.
- Revisions will only be made once per tier. Again, I am usually pretty easy-going about this but do be aware that I will not make an infinite number of revisions. When requesting a commission, it is best to include reference images or else you will have to describe every aspect of the commission in extensive detail. I will only fix it once at each level and I will not go back to make repairs once I have moved on to the next stage of production, especially not if the error is your fault for not including something in your description. For the sake of the both of us, please be as thorough as possible when writing out a request for a commission.
- Please allow a minimum of two weeks for completion of your commission. I will try to be timely with these but life happens and I am unfortunately terrible about managing it when it crops up, so please be patient with me."

a LONG time ago on her Avyris account. I just remembered that she captured exactly how I want to handle commissions. She is NOT taking commissions as far as I am aware. Do not bug her about it.
But I am.
