DESIGN A FURSUIT HEAD EVENT!
January 6th 2013 - Febuary 1st 2013

I'm doing this to involve you guys in the fursuit construction process! Below are the rules/steps in order to enter into this and how it's going to work! CANT WAIT TO SEE WHAT YOU GUYS HAVE FOR ME THIS YEAR!

If you're curious as to what is going on, I'm holding an event for people to design/create a fursuit head based on certain factors (listed below, please read!) that I will create after being judged. Then the head will be auctioned off after it's creation! There will be prizes awarded to the top three designers as well as a prize for the winning design. (Winner will also get a percentage off if they choose to bid on the head)

THIS YEAR THE HEAD WILL HAVE A FLEECE FACE ONLY! Please do not use any fur colors as the face as I will either use the fleece version or I will notify you that your design has to be altered :/

After Febuary 1st - I will have people vote on the top three designs out of everyone's. Then pick the top design out of the three along with a guest judge. They will be chosen based on creativity, originality, following the criteria. I don't want it a popularity contest or a "who colored better" attitude. Don't feel like you can't enter just because of your skills compared to others! If you're really worried please note me!

As for everyone else who has entered and didn't win the voting they will STILL get a free doodle/sketch of their character of choice as a thank you for participating!

How to Enter!
Please read carefully!
★Read the Design Rules below! They are extremely important and need to be followed in order for your design to qualify!
★Fill out the Design Template found below

(You may also use your own doodle reference if you wish, this is just for those who would rather use a premade ref.)
★Post your Design Template on FA (scraps or gallery)
★ MUST BE A WATCHER
★ Please do not copy off anyone else's design
★ One submission per person, however if you change your submission it will replace the prior one you post
★ ORIGINAL DESIGNS ONLY! This can't be used for a free head of your sona, I do commissionsfor a reason!
★ Winner from previous year cannot place this year. Sorry! Trying to keep it fair!
★Link back to this Journal as well so others can enter! Either pimp it from your own journal or just post it on the submission(please post to submission at the very least so people can find this)
★Post your design in THIS JOURNAL ONLY please don't note or shout me to it, I want to keep it organized
★HAVE FUN! I really want to see what you guys have to create! Please no hard feelings, and do not think you can't do any better than the next! You won't know unless you try!!

Design Rules:
Please read closely and follow otherwise your design won't be used
★The design must include ONLY these colors(don't have to use all, this is just all I have available for this event); Purple, Neon Pink,Neon Green, Black, Turquoise, White, Dark Gray (There is a list on the Template as well)
★The colors above have a specific amount you can use (only because some are small and can be used as markings etc. The amounts are as follows:
-Neon Green(-enough for full head/base color at most)
-Dark Gray(-enough for full head/base color at most)
-Turqoise(-enough for full head/base color at most)
-Black(half a yard- enough for bigger markings/inner ear)
-Neon Pink(random scraps for dots/smaller markings)
-White(random scraps for dots/smaller markings)

Fleece Colors are as follows
FLEECE WILL BE USED FOR THE FACE, and is optional for the ears, inner ears, facial markings, tongue.
-Neon Green
-Yellow
-Dark Blue
-Light/Baby blue
-White
-Black
-Orange
-Red
((( If you are interested in using any other fleece colors let me know I can possibly get my paws on them!)))
PLEASE ADHERE TO THESE OTHERWISE I MAY HAVE TO TAKE OUT SOME MARKINGS/ETC IF YOUR DESIGN DOES GET CHOSEN!
(((If you're worried about any colors please note me I can help!)))
★You can add any piercings/gauges/shape markings/tufts of hair/etc you'd like.
★The nose and eyes can be ANY color [nose will be sculpted so no worries, EXCEPT THE HYBRID, his beak will be foamed! so please choose a fleece color!]
★ Your markings can be any shape, on any part of the face, ears can be different colors, etc. As long as the colors are within the ones I have available you can create the head however you would like!
★ The ears can also be fleece, they do not have to be fur, this will help you guys have more color choices
★The hybrid caribou/griffon you can choose any FLEECE colors for the larger horns, the smaller horns I can sculpt and can be ANY color. Please choose AT LEAST ONE type of horn style.
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO DO A DIFFERENT SPECIES YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO! BUT due to my lack of skill, please no avians, reptiles, dragons, seacreatures. If you are unsure/curious feel free to note me!
