hi everyone!

so, i think i have a new fursona, finally. her name is Richelle and she's a little hybrid mashup that i'm just gonna call a "demon" or a "whatsit". here are some pictures, though her design isn't finalized:

i'll be making her a ref sheet when i'm settled with her, so that there's no confusion of her looks.

i'll say this again just so as many people understand it as possible, because i know it's confusing: a while ago Nix became her own character to me, in my head (i explained it in a couple submissions, and hence the assassin-ness and crazy personality on her ref sheet). she's part of a world floating around in my head that i'd like to write about someday. but i don't have an actual fursona that's -me-, cuz i can't find anything that fits. i just use Nix most of the time for things cuz that's what people are used to (and also, she's fun to draw), but i've been trying to get more of my other characters seen lately as well. while i try to create something that works for me.

so that's that, and now there's Richelle. now this leads to the question "but...now what do we call you?" well, in all honesty, you can call me pretty much anything you want. seriously, i've responded to "hey bitch" (though i'd probably be offended if you did that, so...i'd rather you not). i know people have taken to calling me "Nix" and many different plays on the word, and that's perfectly fine. you can call me "Richelle", you can call me "Alishka", or "Alli", it's all good. i'll probably continue to sign things "Nix" and using the name around because that's what i'm used to as well. so don't worry if you want to keep doing that, no reason to feel bad about it.

one thing though: please don't use "pet names" at me, or call me things like "sexy" and "hot" or anything like that or more than that. pet names and the like are fine for close friends and stuff, but not otherwise, and frankly...i'm nobody's "pet". the "come on" comments are just weird. it's fine to say them about my characters (as long as it doesn't get crazy and creepy), but not directed at me. it makes me uncomfortable. this is the internet, most of you don't actually know anything about me or what i look like. when people do things like that toward me in person, they risk getting told off or completely ignored. the same applies here. so, while i hope you enjoy your time in and around my gallery and streams and talking to me and such, and that YOU feel comfortable...-I- want to feel comfortable too.

that all said, i hope that you all like Richelle and the changes she may go through as i me-i-fy her.

((P.S. as Syn said in a comment below: just because Nix isn't my fursona, does NOT mean i'm not using her anymore, and/or that anyone can just take her and use her. she's still a main character of mine and i'll still be drawing her a lot and commissioning pictures of her. the same goes for ALL the rest of my many characters. i love them, and they are mine. NO TOUCHY!))
