Old species meme and Camera Update

Just to clear up the previous journal, during the month of silent FA I was indeed gifted the Orbit camera. I'm not sure if the helpful parties wish to be named, since both the ones who offered and ze one who gifted did it through the privacy of notes, but that won't stop me from PUBLICLY THANKING YOU IN BOLD CAPS. So there.
Right now, the first Otakon I have missed since '99 is going on, and while I am disappointed I couldn't attend 2008's, there's always next year. I hope those attending are having a good time! because (for once) it doesn't seem the weekend weather is quite as out to kill you as it's been previous Otakons.

It's called the Pink Fairy Armadillo League and you have to be a few things in order to qualify for an application in the most prestigious PFAL. The proper hue, the well armored skin and familiarity with magic are the things the PFAL is looking for in terms of eligibility in their organization.
They're pretty strict about it, too.
