Please Help!? Desperate!

Right so here's the long and short of it.
Due to a slight mix up and some miscommunication by both myself and the state I now owe a grand total of $9566 to the state, tried to appeal the matter but it fell through and now they're asking for two payments of $600 every month or face a minimum of 5 years jail time. As if things weren't bad enough I'm still in the process of paying off a $2000 credit card bill from last year, normally this wouldn't be a problem but seeing as I haven't been getting any hours at work since last year and that no place seems interested in hiring me. I literally have just a little over $300 in the bank so I can't even afford to cover even half of the first $600 bill these people are asking me for.
My parents are going to try to help me pay off everything but honestly they dont' have the money to be giving me $1200+ every month. So that brings me to the point of this particular journal, normally I hate to ask for money but at this point I think it's safe to say that I'm pretty desperate.
Any cash would be greatly appreciated, alternatively if you spread the word that would be helpful to.

[edit] because people seem to think this is something I can fight, my situation deals with me being overpaid by unemployment and them saying I committed fraud. Already filed an appeal and it didn't pan out, it was an honest mistake on my part so in this case the state is actually in the right. To all those that have sent money and pimped my journal I thank you.

I implore you to check this out yourself, OP. If me and Widgette here's states do it, chances are...
1st, pawn off the computer you're using right now.
You can also ask them if they can make an arrangement to garnish your wages. Because you don't have any, it would kick in when you get a job, and it *should* be a reasonable percentage of what you make.

Would it be possible to get a debt consolidation loan or even a small loan with your parents as co-signers? The monthly repayment on a loan, even one of $10,000 would be considerably less than $1200/mon and wouldn't come with jail time for default.
Maybe even beg off one shift a week at work so you still list as working. Show the bank your year end statement not your weekly.
As I say, less than ideal, but infinitely better than the current option.

The individual perfectly knew what he was doing was wrong if this is the case of him owing 10 grand.
Our Government doesn't just go around and tries to incarcerate people... In fact it costs the state more money to do that.
As a side note I love how furries just give money people asking for it. So since everyone is in a giving mood here, I have a problem. I need money so I can buy a new Lincoln navigator to replace the one I currently have. HELP PLEASE!
Not sure on the law in his area. but the government agents are the ones who screwed up buy not giving him
everything he needed. and now he's the one getting punished.
