I'm Amory Wood, I go by Sy'Esix, Wolvie, Wolv, Tree, Barkbutt, and many other names. I've been drawing for a little over 2 years. I'm really bad with anthro stuff, as I usually draw ferals, but I'm working on it!

I prefer traditional media, but digital is by far easier for me. I've been slowly learning how to do all sorts of cool things in photoshop, and I'm pretty proud of my progress!

I love videogames, and anything nature related, my character itself is a tree. Its a closed species, though I've seen a lot of things like it popping up, and had lots of people asking me about making one of their own. My hobbies are videogames, walking, sculpture, working out, and anything active, really. I like to do fan art of different videogames, but don't usually have the time. Art is my only income, not for lack of trying to find a job. I'm ex military, and miss it a ton, it was the most fun I ever had in my life. I started drawing after i got out of the military, august 12, 2010.

My inspiration is lots of videogames and movies, specifically lost oddessy, legend of zelda, and lord of the rings (movie not games). A lot of art friends inspire me by their works, but noone that really stands out above the other.

I love making art friends, and talking about techniques and the like. I try to be as friendly as possible, but I do have some odd mental disorders that make me a hard person to be around/talk to. :/

I prefer drawing clean art but I will draw adult themes. Most of my work is digital or at least half traditional and half digital. I'm always looking to improve and I'm never 100% satisfied with my work.

Furry as a whole is a hobby. I'm not a lifestyler, fursuiter, or think of myself as a "furry trapped in a human body". I have nothing against people who's furryness consumes a larger percentage of their life. I've just always felt that Humans were boring things to draw. Anthropomorphic animals have always just been more fun as an art subject.

That being said. I'm not much of an RPer outside of Lost in Serenity.

I can be a bit obsessive about some things. Most often, lately, I will ramble forever about "Uncharted" because it's my end all be all favorite game series.

I read far too much and far too widely - right now I am working through "Arabella" by Georgette Heyer, "A Storm of Swords" by George R R Martin, and "Born to Run" by Mercedes Lackey and Larry Dixon. I buy used books by the boxful and devour them. There are several thousand paperbacks on my shelves :o

Like keikittora said above, I'm not a furry lifestyler in any way. I just like to draw and read about animal people, ever since my very first fursona (A Fifi Lafume recolor!). I used to love Brian Jacques and Robin Jarvis' books (who am I kidding, I still do). I also like to design beautiful (well, beautiful to me) outfits and erotic gear and fun footwear. It's a nice outlet for me since I dress very boringly in real life. I used to go to cons but I haven't been to one since...2008 I think. I don't have a lot of furry friends anymore and I don't sell merch so it's hard for my to justify going to one. Maybe that'll change.

I like to cook (a lot), knit and crochet. I'm a big fan of British tv shows and cop shows, and especially British crime drama :D I garden in the summer (mostly tomatoes, peppers, green beans, and herbs) and I try in vain to keep houseplants alive the rest of the year. I like plants a lot, but my house is just too dark for them, it seems.

I have a cat and three anoles. I used to have five ferrets but they have all sadly gone to the big tunnel in the sky. I might get more ferrets someday.

Anyways, i live in southern cali...not from here...moved here about 2 years ago from singapore and originally born in japan and lived there for 16 years
NO, i don't speak japanese. The language wasn't that particularly interesting to me but rather different aspects of the culture such as art, anime, manga, food, and games.

Not necessarily a furry but i do enjoy anthro art. It all started with being fascinated with Miles "Tails" Prower from Sonic. Being a two-tailed fox, I always enjoyed his ability to fly and swim, specifically from Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles. Right now I'm in the process of trying to create a storyline and comic with a friend here on fa as well.

Been drawing on and off for about 12-ish years or so. Only recently have i gotten a little more serious about my drawing. My friend got me back into art simply by introducing me into the fandom. I do clean tranditional art and transfer them into digital art minus the shading and detail. The most i usually do is flat coloring. Shading and detail are still two skills i'm in the process of working on.

I'm a casual gamer. I play a bit of everything except for horror games. My favorite games consist of action/adventure or rpg elements since those are the games i enjoy most. Character creation and development or it simply has to have a decent gameplay i can enjoy. Story is important as well...

As weird as this sounds, I think the reason that I got more into drawing furries as I got older is cause I love the female body, and I love animals, so why not smash them together? I've been attempting to draw furries for 13 years. I'd say I'm definitely still learning and elements of my style can and do evolve. I'm influenced by a number of artists, so I've kind of taken a bit of style here and a technique there and mashed them all together to create me XD

Hello, everyone. I have been a member here since August 2014 and I love the community so far, even though I am not a furry or brony myself. In fact, I wouldn't be carrying on without this site to help me accept myself as a diaper lover.

I like to do the occasional trade to motivate myself to draw and to receive art in return for my efforts. My main media is digital using SAI and Photoshop together.
