I have an itching to do some art and to draw some interesting folks…so I am turning to you guys and, with inspiration from amazing folks like  formidonis, doing a Free Icon drive!

Everyone will receive a free 100x100 pixel icon of their character done in the style of my current icon (more examples of icons in this style can be seen here).

Rules: Please follow the rules if you'd like a free icon :)

One request per person! This rule will only change if the tips reach the appropriate amount. If you are half of a couple and the two of you would like a pair of icons of adorable nuzzling, please have your partner add a comment to yours and/or note in your comment that your partner will be commenting as well.

I'm okay with fan art styles & species. If you have a Pokemorph, Digimorph, My Little Pony, or whatever-based character, I am totally cool drawing them! I will not, however, draw Rainbow Dash, Renamon, or any other specific copyrighted characters. The character can be based on a show or a species from the show, but can't be the character from the show itself.

In Your Comment, Please Include: A reference pic or description of your character. Links on FA are fine (and encouraged!). Please include species, fur color, eye color, hair color, and any details that make your character yours!

Tip Incentive Commissions
If you add specific amounts to my tip jar, you will get goodies! All of these are in addition to the icon that you will be receiving.

Buttons - For $5, I will mail you a custom button of your character's icon! Examples can be seen here. It's like having a little badge you can wear all the time :) Please be sure to include your mailing address if you tip this much!

Ubercute Character Portrait - For $25, I will do a full-body portrait of your character in the style of the icons. Some examples: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. These portraits are digital!

Custom Badge! - $35. Normally I only do these at conventions, but on this occasion, I'm making an exception :) You will receive a 4x6" convention badge with clip, laminated and mailed to you. Examples of these can be seen here. The "fairy" style badge was specific to Anthrocon last year, but I am still doing the full-body, "feral-cute" style badges, with or without wings! Do not forget to include the name you'd like on your badge. Please be sure to include your mailing address if you tip this much!

All of the Above - $50. Get a button, a cute digital character portrait, AND a custom badge of your character! Please be sure to include your mailing address if you tip this much!

If Tips Reach…

$50 - You've treated  spotweld,  arembee, and me to sushi. Goal reached! Thank you very much, guys!
$100 - Every icon requested will be drawn. I'm going to try to draw as many of these as possible, but I will only guarantee EVERY one if I reach this much in tips :) Goal reached! Eeeeeee!
$250 - Everyone who tips will get a second icon, drawn in a different style than the normal "ubercute" style offered. If you have an idea for a particular icon (mood, theme, etc.), this is when it will come into play. Feel free to leave your second request in your comment, though I cannot guarantee we will reach this tip level! Goal reached! Thanks, everyone!

If the tip level goes higher than this, I will include more incentives. I have NO idea how this will go, so we'll see what happens!

Timeline

I have never done a project like this before, so I have no guarantees on time. I will make a note in this journal when I close requests. REQUESTS ARE NOW CLOSED! Thanks, everyone!

With the blizzard coming up this weekend, the plan is to sit in the warm house, curled up by the fire, doodling icons! But, if for whatever reason we lose power, this may be delayed. I will attempt to make a note here if that happens.
