Nuestra perrita y mascota, Sui, ha vivido por un buen tiempo; pero estos días recientes habrán sido sus últimos. Durante los últimos dos meses, su salud ha empeorado enormemente con lo que parece ser un cáncer. Ella tiene varios tumores afectando su cuerpo, particularmente uno en el cuello que obstruye su respiración. En esta etapa no creemos que ella deba vivir el revolú de exámenes médicos más progundos y una cirugía, y tampoco merece vivir en agonía. Últimamente ella duerme la mayor parte del tiempo, se comporta de forma letárgica e incluso ha empezado a hacérsele difícil ponerse de pie. Dada su condición, entendemos que ella debería ir a su descanso final mañana. Pero antes de la decisión final haremos una consulta veterinaria acerca de la probabilidad de supervivencia y esperanza de vida post-operatoria, de ser posible una operación.

Our pet dog, Sui, has lived for a fairly long time; but these recent days would be her very last. On the course of the last two months, her health has worsened to a great extent with what appears to be a cancer. She has various tumors afflicting her body, most notably obstructing her breathing on her neck area. We think she shouldn't undergo the hassle of an extensive check-up and a surgery, and she doesn't deserve living in agony. Nowadays she sleeps most of the time, behaves lethargically and even has trouble to stand up. Given her condition, we think she should get her final rest tomorrow. But before this final decision we'll get a veterinarian's advice about her chances of survival and possible life expectancy after a surgery, supposing a surgery is possible.
