i listened to a lot of "relapse" an album by Eminem when i was in Grease, so that album reminds me of there. Specifically "Stay wide Awake", i have this really vivid memory of driving in the country in the middle of nowhere listening to that song watched the side rails go by. it really set the mood of the song.
7. Song that reminds you of a certain event.
i sung Mr Roboto by Styx in grade 8 (kind of just as a joke) as karaoke. so i suppose that song reminds me of grade 8.

i know many, but off the top of my head, "live it out" by Metric.

"One Step Beyond" by Madness pretty much always gets me moving somehow. (left from Leucotta).

i go out of my way to play learn as much Metric on drums as i can (and kind of bass),
with the exception of songs like "Hustle Rose" just because i don't play like he does, so its hard to get the emphasis right.

don't get me wrong i don't "hate" it, i do like it, quite a bit. but my expectations were way bigger.
31. What don't you like in a band? Why?
i know it doesn't really matter, because i actually LOVE their music. but Mindless Self Indulgence(MISI)'s music is sssoooooo fake, it bothers me a lot when a band (and they are technically a "band") cant play what they recorded on stage.
don't get me wrong even Metric, my absolute favourite Band has wired sounds and suck that where added to recording.
BUT, they for the most part use those sounds live. and they don't just have it playing in the back like karaoke. they use samplers, so its more like "real time programming", and often all (not just the front woman) of them uses a synth (which is her second instalment next to her singing), both the bassist and guitarist use synths often at the same time.
when i watched them live a couple months ago they played a song that at a point all four of them are using synths, even the drummer was using a sampler at the time…. and it sounded exactly like the track in the album. and they were really tight too, it didnt sound forced at all.
