>A: Go home and get geared up.

A thousand things are going through your head right now. Hunters only go into the jungle for poaching and scouting, never for fun. What could Phiodel possibly expect to find in there? And that green-cloaked Felinid, he was just as much of a mystery that you wanted uncovered. But the biggest question was made by the first strange event: why did the council exclude the Hunters from their meeting this morning? All of these questions and no answers- maybe now it was finally time to find them.

You immediately turn, sprinting down the street to your home, not waiting to take so long that Phiodel decides to leave without you. You quickly make it home, and you rush by your parents and brother in order to get to your room. As much as you'd like to ask your parents right away about what happened this morning, you have a feeling that it would get you nowhere while wasting time. You brush past the grass dividers making up your bedroom door, and you reach under the cubbyhole where your clothes are placed every night for your slumber, and pull out a crudely-crafted hidden drawer. You were about to look inside and reach in when your brother's voice suddenly spoke up behind you.

"Sister, is something wrong?"

You turn to face Amak.

"I'm not sure yet, brother. I'm going into Nanako Vosi with another Hunter in order to figure out a few things."

"I Thought you had a day off today?"

"Well, I did, but a lot of strange things have been happening today."

The young ocelot nodded, a little unsure of what you were saying.

"When will you be back, Ana?"

You can't help but smile at his disrespecting the overly-formal sibling formalities.

"Nanako willing, I will be back by sundown."

He bowed slightly before going back into the main room with the rest of your family, leaving you to face your weapon stash. You kneel down and peer inside to see...
