Tumblr = used by a great amount of people, its a mainstream website, with people who shun anything not normal.

On 4chan you wont encounter anything like that, everyone is anonymous and you'll always find people who are weird, hell they embrace everything that isn't normal.

Not saying /b/ = 4chan, all other boards are full of hipsters who embrace everything that is non mainstream too.

the main thing i'm pointing out is Yeah tumblr has its haters, but at least unlike 4chan they aren't actively trying to seek out members of that group and troll them to death

I hate it when so many people hate on concepts they not only don't understand but don't even know a thing about. At least there's still others who feel the same as you.

Stay away from the FurAffinity forums while you're at it. They've got a massive hate boner for that segment of the community.

It's funny, really. Furries don't really like us and AB/DLs don't really like us. I guess even the freaks need their own subfreaks to improve their own self-image.

I suppose I was rather surprised that you decided to make a tumblr. I know what sort of thing some people are into, and tbh I'm not willing to take it as far as some. I probably won't be keeping mine too much longer cause it is a big wide world out there and I think I would prefer something like here or your own website cause its so much smaller and manageable i like it a lot

Besides it not making any sense for users, this is a common thought in society through the fundamentals of sociology and deviance. What deviance really translates to is something that is not the norm for society. In this case, baby furs for the society of tumbler are viewed as deviant, because they are not considered to be apart of being the norm. This does not mean a bad thing in any way, because deviance is just, well different.

So, after telling you this boring sciency stuff that I learned in one of my college classes, it's probably a good idea to stay away from tumbler with those search results. Just remember, that only genuine folks care for one another, no matter who or what they may be.

every site with furries has its negative side on babyfurs (unless its a babyfur only site) but i've found tumblr is really quite nice its not as good as fa but it's a great place for interactive stories something I've never seen on any other site and a great way for a newer artist to practice art with questions and answers (although that can be done here but not for an entire story like it can on tumblr

It's sad theres so much hate I'l admit I never searched babyfur there as I am there for pony reasons and really only pay attention to blogs about doctor whooves, derpy or my friends pony ocs so i never realized that was going on there but i guess it doesnt suprise me as its a popular site not just for furrys not even just for artists though what people who dont draw do there is beyond me its normally just reblogging and photos from what i see but point is all kinds of people are there just like all kinds of furrys are hear you just watch your nice safe group and normally only people that like your stuff will come sure trolls happen but they happen everywhere

The websites we associate on and are active on in a community of are own can act as a safty net for all of us because on these sites everyone shares the same interest we do and it the case of FA and Babyfur.me we find it normal to talk and we are safe in these "Bubbles" Like you siad.

But the reality of it all is for every one thing there is going to be somebody out there to criticize or hate on said thing and in the case with tumblr it is full of normal furries, babyfurs and people who hate furries and babyfurs and will just hate on it and it any case they dont precive it as normal and they themsevfs can do things that they get ctiticed for and that is the big problem is before people do there homework persay the just right to the concision that they have and it the case of furries to then furries = sex and bad. So they have to attack it beacuse the dont understand it and that can be siad about a lot of things. But really we do have quite a bubble here that can be attacked but we just have to keep a positive outlook on things and just ignore people like that.

I was once on a livechat page on a gaming website and I mentioned furs which kicked off a load of them hating on furs and calling them all sorts of things but I dont think they twigged I am one so I got away with it. Needless to say I make sure I dont say anything about it on that page. If that was there reaction to furs I would hate to see there reaction to baby furs.

I dont exactly understand Babyfurs myself, in fact I think its a little odd but there is no way I would insult any of you or call you anything because of what you like or do. The only problem I would have is if it hurt anyone which it doesn't.

I've been on Tumblr for a while, and I gotta say this - there's hate for everything on Tumblr, just like any major social site. There's hate for babyfurs right here on FA too, but you've been on the site long enough to have maneuvered past it and found the safe areas, and you've been around long enough that people know who you are and what you're about (making you a person, instead of "some babyfur"). With Tumblr, you just need to be able to do the same thing, just search around for people who aren't all mean, and you'll be fine. There'll be more trolls, just because there are more people to start with, but that's just how the internet works.

I've seen about half a dozen posts mentioning cub or babyfur stuff, though, and the closest any of those got to 'hate' was to say that if these people post any cub/babyfur pictures, it'll be clean ( these were porn/fetish blogs >.///.>" so that's why they said that )

Tumblr being more mainstream and stuff than FA, you'll have more hate, but at the same time, if you do some searching, and sift through it, you should be able to find some good people and good posts and stuff, and maybe find some new friends an' everything along the way :3

And, also, I apologize for usually never talkin' or anything but I'm shy and talkin' makes me nervous, so I usually jus' kinda shoosh an' things x.-.x

Sadly...Babyfurs are hated by furries and even some abdls as well. Most furries either see us as pedophiles or are just plain disgusted by the diapers while abdls view us as animal fuckers or as lifestyle "extremists". Talk about pot calling the kettle when it comes the abdl issue with us >.>... We're kind of stuck on our own little island in a way between the two communities we share parts of. Guess those groups gotta find someone to play their whipping boy since they get so much hatred from groups of their own. Human nature and all that junk: If it's different from your own interests then shun and flame it till it goes away.

I'm OK with it..... ^^ at the end of the day I'm better looking and smarter than all the haters put together

I hear you, Gem. I've encountered a number of negative responses to the babyfur / diaperfur community. Some of which are totally unfair as judgments are made largely on the acts of 1 out of every 1,000 of us. Though, isn't it always the one bad apple that ruins the batch?

Socially, I feel awful in the fact I am unable to actively share this part of myself publically. This site, along with good friends, have really helped me to accept who I am on the inside and I've never been the type to hide who I am. Hiding who I am takes away from my overall personality and makes me feel limited and that is no fun at all.

Personally, FA is my favorite site as it has all I enjoy in a visually impaired friendly package. Other sites aren't quite as friendly. A big example of unfriendly to those of us with sight issues is FaceBook. You'd think the creator, who is color blind, would try to make his site more friendly for those of us with visual disabilities like he has. :(

It is also nice we have "Ambassadors" like yourself to positively represent the Babyfur / Diaperfur community. You have the notariety that makes you stand out and you stand out as a squirrel who is just like your everyday person who just so happens to like wearing diapers and feeling small sometimes. I know, if a time would ever come, I'd be sure to be a positive ambassador for our sub-group in the furry world as I not only want to prove disability doesn't mean inability, but also wish to show how being a babyfur / diaperfur is a coping mechanism that has fairly little, if any, negative side effects. Truly, and I'm sure you'll agree, I'd rather have diapers than drugs or alcohol. :)
