>A: A sword

You peer inside the simple drawer in the wall, seeing your favorite, personal weapon. It's a sword, made with a shining length of iron, decorated with many insignias of your tribe that are exclusive to the weapons of the Hunters. The difference between these markings and the runic symbols on Phiodel's daggers was that you understood the meanings of these insignias. They wrapped around the blade in barely visible curved etchings, three of them, meaning "Bravery," "Heart," and "Skill" from top to bottom. The combinations of words and order on a weapon were just as unique for each Hunter as the weapons themselves.

You lift the sword by the handle and take the back-mount holster underneath. You strap the holster to your body, anchoring it to the twine that held your loincloth in place, and sheathe your blade. No doubt, it will come in handy in the jungle.

You give an audible farewell to your family as you quickly pass them, not really paying them much mind. Getting back to Phiodel seemed more important right now. You rush through the streets, past more Wenta tribemembers, in the attempt to make sure that your new friend doesn't lave you behind. You speed past street corners, down small alleyways and past the merchants that are busily packing up for the evening, until finally you approach the Main Gate.

It is one of the more impressive parts of the village- not to show off to outside visitors, but because the more "valuable" members of the tribe just love to mingle with the Hunters as they pass through. In fact, some Hunters actually live in this area just to shorten their daily trip into the jungle by a few steps. Luxurious decorations, banners and coloured torches are everywhere here, easily afforded by the Felinids who have the most control- other than the members of the Council. It The many colors quickly grab your attention, forcing you to stop for a moment until you get "Ooh, shiny!" part of your brain under control again and notice Phiodel standing and waiting right at the gate.

"What took you, Ana? Are you ready to go?"

You rush over and stop in front of him, nodding.

"Yeah, I have everything I need."

He turns around, wordlessly, and starts walking along the road until it ends and turns to muddy sand. Just as silently, you follow him, not sure what to expect. All you know right now is that it is slowly getting late, more so than you thought it was earlier. It's very rare for any Hunters to head into Nanako Vosi at such a late hour, but as Felinid's, you know that the two of you will have an advantage over anything you might find in there. Well, you hope so, anyway. Just as you're both about to disappear into the tree thickets, however, your Huntress instinct jolts your head around to look back at the wall. Just for a split second, you could have sworn you saw something green...

"Was that...? Nah, there's green all around me right now."
