hmmm... well if yer talkin' comfort then yeah boxer briefs... but if yer talkin' visual appeal... then fer me I'd have ta go with thongs... boxers, briefs an such... even jockstraps are Ok but they seem like more 'casual' underwear... while thongs tend ta come in such exotic an erotic prints and designs... they are definately meant ta bring out the animal in the viewer an if yer gonna show off fer yer partner then what better way that doin' it in a skimpy thong... especially if it's already barely able ta cover yer own arousal at 'showin' off' fer yer partner! mrrrr! ;)

Traditional boxers. They have a loose fit, allowing my junk to breathe more easily, and the fly helps a lot when I have to pull it out for any reason . I'm all for practicality in the underwear department.
They also make more sense on anthros because the tailhole on them is less of an eyesore than on... say briefs.

Undies with the perfect mix if .skimpy, sexy, and comfortable. I like a variety of all of em. :p Thongs, jocks, board shorts, boxer briefs, and female undies (from time to time).

Low cut boxer briefs are the best for underwear parties. They prop up the goods very well and give good definition to your hips and rump. I got runner's legs, so I gotta show em' off. :P

Trunks with a decent pouch, undies without a pouch are too uncomfortable and a little bulge never hurts... And preferably made of lycra, spandex or other super soft microfibers. ^_^

Anyway, in terms of what I wear: boxer-briefs. Maximum comfort and support. Although if I know I'm going to be moving a lot over the course of the day, I'll wear briefs instead. And in terms of sleepwear, I prefer boxers or commando. Those four underwear types are the only ones I've tried.

As for most visually appealing... heck, they all have their perks. Thongs, panties, compression shorts, jockstraps, diapers, swimwear, fundoshi... I'm just an undies guy.
