Buying a game because its fate
well kinda... ok, pretty random and boring but I thougt it was kinda funny somehow.
Today when I bought the games from a customer like I do it many times at work everything was pretty normal.
After this I just took out the discs of every game to put it into the manual, also Batman Arkham City for PS3 when I noticed a sheet of paper behind the manual. Simply a bill. Nothing special because I find a bill in every 20th game or such.
obviously it was a bill from gamestop and I do like to look at this stuff because gamestop is so extremly expensive thats always good for a laugh. Just wanted to check out how much this poor guy paid for the game.
Then I noticed it was not the gamestop in our city but the Gamestop in Magdeburg. Thats not only the current location of Eurofurence but also the city where I was born. Now I live around 9 hours away from this place, pretty long distance.
The chance to buy a game from a customer who bought it over there is already low, also that he kept only the bill of this game for around two years in this box. But yeah the date... it was kinda creepy to actually read the date of my birthday on the bill.
Its like someone wanted me to buy that game for myself. Well I just did it now x3 Its just funny somehow and I also kept the bill.
wanted to play a Batman arkham game anyway because so many people say its awesome.
uhm, yeah thats it, sorry o.o told you its boring.

It's a really great game, I know you'll enjoy it, shame that it being used it won't have the free Catwoman DLC code...
It's too bad you couldn't have said thanks to this person before they left, or gotten to know more of the story than what that receipt told you.
I have found one or two in my used games in the past, but never had something that cool happen before.
I wanted to get a job at a Gamestop in the neighboring town, but alas I was not hired... and it was a brand new store when I applied, so I thought that would be the best time to try...
Be sure to visit Calender Man in the Court Basement on St. Patrick's Day, you need to see him on every holiday, once per month to get a very long journey of a trophy.
There is a calender on the wall next to his cell for your convenience to keep track of which holidays you've visited him for, and when it is you need to visit.
"Good luck, we're all counting on you."
I once bought a game from GameStop, and a receipt for GameCrazy in Illinois was inside it. I live in Massachusetts o-o
