Society has changed in the past few years and are becoming more accepting than what you (or your dad) think. In some parts in the country its more accepted than others but its getting there.

Your dad is going on what the Book and the Church has been saying for hundreds of years. And like I told you before, the Bible has been misread and misinterpreted because of its cryptic meanings...many Churches have been reading it wrong to the point where you have a group like Wesrboro Baptist Church, which is now labeled as a Hate Group and not a church anymore.

This corruption, egotistical mindset and hypocrisy is the reason why I left....

I love being a catholic and love being the way I am and nobody is gonna change that :)

Catholic, imo is becoming more open about gays and everything else than the others....
