I think the pleasure is mutual. Everyone likes what they like. If you're a bottom and your partner is a top, you're both getting pretty equal pleasure.

I have to disagree in my journey thorugh the furry fandom I feel there are a equal number or maybe 40/60 split of tops to bottoms ratio, I don't believe there's one more than others. Switches cancel out of the statistic, but I feel there are just as many people wanting to get nailed as there are people wanting to nail others.

Well I'm both for once but I'll say this.

Tops enjoy the feeling of having power over their mate, and they are more aggressive which can add pleasure to their feelings.
Bottoms however enjoy the fact their mate is enjoying himself (as well as your own), and the feeling of being one together is a great sensual feeling of having your mate take control.

Not always the case, remember there are power bottoms and power subs too. They love dominating their partner and taking charge when bottoming. And bottoming doesn't necessarily equal submissive, there are a lot of dominant bottoms out there too. just some food for thought

I have to agree with cenny on this One I think both get an equal benefit from the experience. Both Enjoy their part equally and thus it makes it fun for each in their own way. I will not say all tops are in control as there are some power bottoms that enjoy taking control and riding or control the mating even from a bottom perspective. So its based on the situation though I tend to be a submissive, I can do what ever the dom wants be it top them or bottom for them. Either way its equally fulfilling to me.

I understand the effort and work that goes into being a bottom. Not saying that there isn't hard work to topping, but being a bottom seems to feel more work-related before sex. I know that Tops tend to often have to work during sex, however, that work is supported by natural reactions. Well for me I'd go with both.I mean the pros and cons you put out are rather accurate but depending on the attitude and personality of the bottom he could be the one controlling the tops pace.Also the "fullness" the bottom feels could feel just as awesome as the feeling the top feels.

I mean just because someone is a dominant does automatically mean he is a top and because someone is a submissive doesn't mean they are automatically a bottom either.Because I've talked to some people(Not naming) who are dominate but they preferred taking as opposed to giving but as you'd expect from a dom' he controlled what his partner did and they both enjoyed it.

Well as a sub/dom, I'm on both sides for pros and cons, but I see both can be fulfilling, depending on the type of person/people you have sex with , if they're dom and selfish, you're not gonna have too much fun, unless that's what you like, and there are the ones who like it so much that the cons don't bother them. but sex is, if doing right, a give and take. (unless you want to be the sub and you just want to take) and should have both contribute in the act. and some are fine with just being the dom and the other just not doing anything (i.e. doing all the work) but as for me, that's not very fun, it's more enjoyable if the other contributes too, as for cleaning, the dom has some duties in that area too, like seriously, you don't wanna go in being a sub and the dom has washed anything, hasn't trimmed, or took care of anything, why should the sub get nice and clean to go down on a smelly tumbleweed (although this my just be because I'm obsessed with being clean ^^;) and as for the climaxing, seriously, the doms (or wanna-be doms) really ignore the fact that they aren't the only one with orgasmic needs, they basically are there just to get off their selves, then they have the audacity to use the phrase 'can you take care of your self'.... What the fuck do you think I was trying to do before, and then they think I want to do this again? um.. no. by wanting sex, you agreed to a implied agreement to get the other off, you don't keep it, then don't come back. I'd argue that bottoming can be more work than topping. Taking a dick can be super tough if you're not stretched enough and even the act of stretching can be a bit of work. As a top, you just need to push into the hole heh.

I also find it interesting that you mention being able to orgasm multiple times as a perk of being a bottom. I'm not sure how those are related :3

Well iv only had one person that could top me and it was ok (there was no passion there).
But recently iv been topping more and iv got to say there was more passion between subs and me.
Supposedly im a switch but I just haven't found that right top just yet.
