Well thats an interesting sighting.

Most of the raccoons I see are sleeping in the road.

I remember a long time ago I saw a raccoon sleeping in a dumpster at one of my old work areas. It slept all through my 8 hour shift, except during lunch time I remember seeing it awake. The raccoon just stared at me with it's beady little eyes, but didn't ran away.
