Okay. First off, news about Daddeh. Looks like Dad has been let out of the hospital.
Apparently there's no direct "cause" for his heart to have suddenly been subjected to this. He didn't overexert himself, his diet wasn't bad, it was just "fated to happen," completely random. His cholesterol is perfect, his body is in quite good shape for his age, and all that. So... yeah. Heart attack, for no reason. He'll be fine, he just needs to take it easy. There is some damage, but it's nowhere near "ruined" levels. They'll have details later this month, but right now Dad's feeling quite tired. It's like getting beaten up. You're out of it for a few days.
Oh wait. Of course there has to be some BAD news.
Doc: "Is it a family condition?"
Dad: "No..."
Doc: "It is now."
...
...
Great. So I guess this means I'll have a heart attack at a young age too, no matter how healthy I live. :(
Sigh. Makes you wonder why people even bother with their health. *buries face in KFC*

Oh well. At any rate, Dad's gonna be fine.

On a serious note, I'm glad your dad's doing better; if a bit tired. Fucking doctors, always finding a way to ruin your day (hey, it rhymes..).

I lost the love of my life three years ago to such a random heart failure.
He was only about 23.
Perfectly healthy, then one day his heart just quit on him.
He was gone before he hit the floor...
The fact of the matter is, life, god, gods, whatever you choose, is merciless and not fair.
Live life every day to it's fullest with the people you care about.
They or you might not be there tomorrow.
