Ayup....I failed at getting the cutie. ;; There were some buttholes buying up what the stores had and selling them for more than they went for. Was super disapointed. Apparently the stores sold out 30 minutes after they opened their doors. Alas, I should have known better. :c
I woulda been a camper, but a lack of car or transportation forced me to squirm around at home till my mother came back with the car in the afternoon. Sadly, all the stock is out, in store and online. I went in my pikachu hoodie and everything too haha xD...............aaaaah...........;-;
So for those of you that managed to get one...YOU LUCKY BASTARDS. xDD Those suckers are so dang cute, and I wanted to take advantage of the sale on them but failed miserably. ;; Looks like I won't be getting a 3DS anytime soon...cuz I highly doubt the stupid stores here will re-stock in time for the sale to still be going on. This was basically my only chance at getting a 3DS since I def wanted the pikachu one. It's hard to convince my mother to not hassle me about my purchases (yes, I'm freakin 22 and she is STILL berating me) and I was able to twist her arm on this one. But alas...aaaah. x"D I don't want to purchase a 'regular ol 3ds' because there might be another chance at a 'limited edition' version again, but still....MAN! Such a bummer. ;;

Why not try PKMNCollectors? I know someone's doing pick-ups (not the Target sale price, but cheaper than the $300+ SOME folks want). Is there a way you can get a raincheck for the price?
Weh I really don't want to pay over 200 for a Pikachu 3DS though :c The people that are doing that on PKMNCollectors are the kind that make me SOANGRYHNNNGH

Target had it for $159.99
And walmart will price-match that.
Then Toys-R-Us had it for $179.99 with a $20 gift card from them.
Gamestop refuses to sell it for cheaper than $200, but at this point people will grab what they can get. :c

I am not getting a 3ds until monster hunter is on that. Which I already know will have its own 3ds and bundle. Why? the game has a ammusement park. Looked at the psp ones and for years I waited for monster hunter portable 3. Never came. especially since 4 days after unite came to america, they came out with it only in japan.
but alas. shall be glorious when it is released.
And will be even HARDER to grab

Europe had that edition besides Japan exclusive since December 2012. It's no wonder they now ship it to the US as well, it sells like hot cakes. But yeah, I wonder how "limited" this edition is. You can still easily buy it here in Europe. My store sells it for around $244. You surely could get it even cheaper at other places. I also own one, because a friend told me to do so. Only own one 3DS game for it though, haha.
