A message from your friendly neighborhood silver fox.
That's right people I am now taking commissions! Finally got my PayPal working, so it's all systems go from now on!
First off, my prices. These may fluctuate as time passes.
Traditional: (Monochrome)
- Sketch - $15
- "Blueshift" - $20
- Ink - $25
- Fully detailed - $30 (With optional additional colour)
Digital: (Colour)
- Lineart - $20
- Flat colour - $30
- Fully detailed - $40
Extra characters = +40%
Basic background = +15%
Detailed background = +30%
NSFW = +$5-10 Less suitable hours during a day.
Now here's instructions where I explain how things work, and that Terms of Service thing people ask for. Do take the time to read both.
Commission instructions:
1. I assume you've already looked through my gallery to get an idea of the quality of my work, so we'll skip this step.
2. Next I'd recommend you read the rest of the wall of text known as my Terms of Service. I know, reading isn't for everyone, but it'll help to avoid misunderstandings in the future.
3. Assuming you agreed with both the ToS, and my prices, you may send me a note.
4. I'll respond as soon as I can with details like the final price, payment method and other details.
5. Once I have accepted your commission, I will send you an invoice to your email address.
6. As soon as payment has been received and when I have time, I will start on your piece. If desired, a basic sketch can be drawn up first before I start with the actual image.
7. You are entitled to ask for updates on your piece. If desired and possible, I can provide a WIP picture of the piece.
8. Once the piece is completed, I will contact you. I will provide you with the link to the piece on whichever art site is relevant, and if applicable, an additional link to the full resolution image. The full resolution image is for personal viewing only, and not for upload without prior agreement.
Terms of Service:
Price:
- The base prices are only used as a reference, and does not necessarily imply the final price.
- Backgrounds and extra characters increase the final price as indicated.
- More complex characters would increase the price as well. (Characters with multiple tails or highly detailed markings especially)
- Busts and full-body pieces can have different prices.
- If you wish to know exactly how much a commission would cost, feel free to contact me and ask.
Payment:
- PayPal is the preferred payment method. Bitcoin is also an acceptable method of payment.
- Depending on the commissioner's preference, the payment can either be done in full, or 50% of the total cost.
- In the latter case of the point mentioned above, the remaining 50% has to be paid on completion.
- Payment needs to be made within 3 business days after the commission has been accepted.
Changes:
- Any changes you want made needs to be done during the sketch stage, not after.
- Do note, minor adjustments can be made to finished digital commissions.
Receiving art:
- Traditional pieces can possibly be shipped, at the commissioner's expense. Enquire if you wish to have your piece shipped.
- In the case of both digital and traditional pieces, you will receive a small "web" version of your commission for submission to a gallery, as well as a full resolution image for personal use.
Refunds:
- If you cancel a commission in progress, you'll get a partial refund, proportional to the amount of work left.
- There are no refunds after the commission has been completed.
- In the event that I have to cancel a commission, you will receive a full refund, along with any WIP pieces if available.
Time:
- Due to the nature of my studies, it is difficult to estimate how long a commission would take to complete.
- Depending on how busy I am and the complexity of the piece, a commission can take anywhere between 3 days and two weeks.
- Holidays could speed up wait times.
- I am likely to draw personal or gift pieces between commissions, but no not worry about the commission being forgotten.
Artist's rights:
- I may refuse a commission depending on the nature of the commission. (Certain subjects don't sit well with me.)
- I retain all copyright to my artwork, so I may post, copy, distribute it as I'd like.
Commissioner's rights:
- You are free to post your commissioned piece in your personal gallery, on the condition that you provide full credit in the form of a link to the original piece, and mention that it is my work.
- As mentioned above, you may only share the smaller "web" version of your commission online.
- You may not edit a commission in any way without my permission. If you wish to do so however, I am very understanding.
Final notes:
- Both this Terms of Service and my rates may change at any time, with or without warning.
