You aren’t paying to get past a wall...

Sometimes people post pics from my site and write comments like “do not distribute? lol, showed u!” First off, dude… you even like the pic or what? I can understand sharing pics because you like them a lot, but like, just sharing out of spite? It’s weird, dude. Real weird. Secondly, it’s more than a bit depressing that you’re taking your frustrations out on some nobody furry artist that’s just trying to get by on his drawings!!
But like, if that’s what you need to do to feel any sense of power or control in your life, then honestly, be my guest. It’s not like people that sign up to my site don’t know my work is out there. They sign up because they want to support my work and want me to continuing making it.
When you sign up to my site, you aren’t paying to get past a wall, you’re paying me to make more work. And of course, as with just about any business, those that pay for that work to be produced should have more exclusive and immediate access to that work that they’ve helped fund. artdecademonthly and everything on it wouldn’t be there without those fans and subscribers. Signing up to the site essentially makes you a producer!

B... I have always been impressed that you never seemed to spaz out when your works do end up out there. And happy that it is enjoyed. (AKA low on the furry drama scale.)
III... yes there are plenty of folks who are in the "just because I can, I will. And you can't stop me." camp. Maybe they think their parents told them no too much as a kid and this is "retaliation" or something.

The people that do support me tend to get a more exclusive and direct system, and of course my thanks for supporting me as an artist.
So all in all, I'm for this post. I'm for dedicating energy to those who support the artist and those that don't. <3
also i really do think most of the time people share because they just really can't afford to spend money on art. yelling at those people isn't really productive because they'd support you if they could. what they are doing can still be damaging, but it's exactly not malicious.
but yeah, there are definitely others that do try to screw people over for whatever depressing justification they've concocted
If its posted on the internet, its only a matter of time before it spreads somewhere else. Be strong, remain positive and don't let these idiots get to you.
I'm sure a lot of furry artists would like to go back to being regular people but since their fans pad them millions of dollars each, it's the fans that call the shots. I am sure you understand.
I'm just glad you're not screwing people over by forcing them to pay for it.

I've long admired you for being about to just go whole hog into what you like doing and make a life out of it. I am not there yet - still working a part-time job while trying to figure out how to make my games sustainable, and it's only with a very supportive boyfriend that I am even getting THAT far; I'd never be able to do it on my own.
I am not a subscriber to your site, but I hope that my other shows of support still contribute something, and I want you to know that I have much respect for you bro.

I'm afraid to say that the world(and internet) have bred a kind of person who feel over-entitled to everything and demands it all to be of the highest of quality and free.
Though it's great to know you're not letting this blow out of proportion and being okay with it to some level.
I don't subscribe to your service, but I believe your art is pretty damn good and I wouldn't be amazed if I ever found out that it's worth every penny.
Keep it up and ignore the children who seem to think stealing from independent artists is equal to stealing from someone at a multi-million company.
