...So last night I was having trouble playing some music on my keyboard (inputting USB to Midi in and Midi out) in FL Studio. Certain notes kept "sticking". I couldn't figure out why and eventually none would play at all. So I gave up.
Just tried again and AGAIN it won't recognise the input- then I moved my hips a bit in my chair and a noise happened! Rejoice! I pressed more keys...UGGHGHHH nothing.
:I
Great.
Thought for a moment and tried holding the cable as I pressed notes with my other hand- holding it up makes it work! Huzzah- then I let go during a note and low and behold- the midi "stuck" again and the note was held.
Because of that I'm going to now assume its a hardware issue not software. I don't want to (and shouldn't have to) hold the cable up with tape every time I want it to work for me.... D;
The keyboard isn't new by any means but I've had no issues with it at all inregards to the midi setup I have been using to mess about with stuff.
Only NOW has it started to fail on me. Very VERY annoying because my other keyboard not only has less keys but has no Midi in or out whatsoever.
-sigh-

That's just a wire which broke or went from it's position though..
If you have just a little craftsmanship and a soldering iron you could easily take the keyboard apart, cut ~3 inches of the cord away and re-solder the wires inside again (of course you first have to note down where each wire belongs to).
