Idk it just seemed kinda random to make Big Boss lose his arm in this game, I dont know if he had the prostetic back in the old metal gear games I'm just curious.

after all, before mgs4, where he appears for roughly 5 minutes after more than a decade of coma, he had a "recicled" body, all of his appearecnce are preceding this game

Yeah I can see that, but Ground Zeroes and Phantom Pain are 2 separate games, so I guessing the Phantom Pain takes place after Ground Zeroes is what I'm saying. :s

AAAghghhh so confusing!! xD ....so they they are 2 separate games, but they're both the same games really, direct squeals of each other, The Phantom Pain being the continued story of Ground Zeroes picking up from the end of that game to continue the story ....am I right so far? ^_^; cuz it sounds like it's just gonna be one big massive game unlike anything before. ^_^

I knew that trailer felt like a Kojima title. But interesting to see there's another one coming out soon.

Someone posted the MGS 5 writing overlaying "The Phantom Pain" ages ago, and I honestly thought it was a MASSIVE stretch and they just wanted to believe it was MGS 5, and would read into anything for it to happen... then it appeared at the end of this trailer. I don't like the series, but wouldn't mind giving it a go if it goes in a new direction (not a Resi 6-direction, but something different!)

All I keep doing when I saw this trailer was METAL GEAR!!!! METAL GEAR!!!! around my house.
