I read all about the cuties but it wouldn't show the pic through my phone but, is there any huge differences between males and females?
A:
there is no differences or way to know the gender of a dreech, they are mainly genderless, but can mate with the dreech they like more, regardless the gender :3

do they eat anything/nibble on stuff?
A:
dreechs can eat everything they can bite with theyr small mouths.
some dreechs might like to eat fruits, plants or chocolate, while others might enjoy the taste of pencil shavings
it depends of the things that are at it's reach when they are hungry,however they can only eat once they acquire a mask.
you can allways try hading them something you want them to eat, they will nibble on it and eat it or leave it on the floor.
not all the dreechs like the same things, each one is unique and has different likes and dislikes ^^

I am tempted by one of these lil cuties, i have a question though! (and i might have just missed this in the species info) but are their color/pattern restrictions?
A:
the restrictions are that you can't make a design that might "opaque" the green of the leafs/leaves they have (or any flower or bonsai tree you wish to make them grow)
and you have to leave a part of the base color coat visible :) (so we can know the base color to make the seeds they leave after passing away )
the body cant mutate, but they can grow horns on theyr heads
and the birdlike feets can't have any color change, the only time they change is when they turn white when they die :c
respecting those things you can do any design and mask you want for them :)
also, the only part of theyr body that can glow are the eyes, if you make the Dreech grow any glowing mushroom or plant, the plant can glow normally :)

do i need to worry about bite marks all over my tablet?
A:
yes you should X3
they bite everything they can, it's theyr particular way to discover the world, they will also try to "taste" you, so be carefull, some doesnt bite that hard ,but others might hurt you

can they swim?
A:
they need to learn to swim
they might drown easily if you dont watch them. but be sure to put them a small can or something with water next to theyr home, since they are plants they need a reasonable amount of water often. ^^

i just hope people respect the rules, dont steal them, and remember sometimes to credit me for the species. ^^'

I may have missed it >.< But, are the leafy sap area on both sides, or just one?
A:
both sides, the leafs on the dreech's ribs are on each side of the body and have the same amount and shape of leaves/grass andleaks the same amount of sap when first borns, remember that once they acquire a mask the sap stops flowing, otherwise they could die as the sap is theyr blood

Dreech/s are currently a closed species, that means you cannot create your own untill i allow it.

and maybe a marsh setting would work. allow them water often with shallow water, deep enough to swim, shallow enough to not drown
but they allways prefer soft and warm places to livand sleep, like a bed or something like that ^^
well you can talk to them, they can (barely) understand you, if you shout at them like you could do with any other pet they will understand that they did something wrong :3
would spritzing them work? or since they are plants would that be a reward?
i reccomend a small bed done with fleece blanket might do, maybe with a patch of something furry, like the one used for fursuits or plushies, they might like it to sleep or play with :3
and that sounds cute :3
they are quite sensible to any kind of poison, like the ones for agriculture for example :c
if you want to punish them you could poke them with your finger a bit strong X3
or put them in a jar for some time, that will surely make them understand they did something very bad X3
and i meant like, take a sewing needle. and use the blunt end to bop them. X3

Is there anything they won't chew on?
in that case you can bop them with your finger,it will work too ^^
theywill try tobite everything around them, even cactus, but if they bite something that they didnt like, will never bite that again, for example, nomming on a cactus will hurt and leave theyr mouths filled with spines that will be something they would never wish to experience again for sure X3
Will they try to hump everything like small dogs do?
and pain is not fun for them, they are very fragile,and if they die from any other way that is not old age they will not leave seed to be planted and reborn :/
And that's very bad ;3; I'll keep one in a little biome thing where it can't get hurt ;3
