Dunno if it has been mentioned but FA apparently added a new option in account settings called...
"Disable Account"
In other words it will deny users from accessing your account, if you dont believe me try going to my old  Folseh account.

As with everything FA adds it will be exploited and abused...mostly by folks who are scammers, art theives, the usual folks who abuse things. I could get that FA did it to possibly deal with folks wanting old accounts deleted or that they opt to leave FA and thus instead of having the account around they have it technically closed.
