Actually he's a satirical reviewer. It's all comedy, really funny too.

Satirical or not, he still raises some good points and the general tone of the review is usually accurate on whether the game is good or bad.

I have a Nintendo 64, but it have a Europlug. If you want it you have to change it to a US plug.

Haven't played my old consoles since I was foolish enough to let my sister borrow my SNES, and she kept the cords too close to her hamster's cage and he chewed right through the AC adapter wire. Any other cords (video, etc.) could be easily replaced, but not that one. Not that it matters, since if I want to play those old games I just use emulators.

You should hit up yard sales, flea markets, and thrift stores when you get just a bit of money. You can usually get a console and a handful of games for pocket change. I got a Dreamcast, 2 controllers, 5 games, and all the stuff for ten bucks. Similar deal on an old X-Box for 15 dollars. Most people don't know the true worth of old systems and games, so you can get them for pennies on the dollar.

Sometimes you'll get things that don't work, but whatever. Common sense and inspecting the goods goes a long way toward avoiding damaged items. Occasionally with cartridges, you'll run into a dead battery, but they're pretty easy to replace.

I'm in the process of getting back into my gaming days, also. I'd lost interest after the 16-bit era ended.

One could take the emulation route with programs like Higan (an NES/SNES/etc. emulator) and Kega Fusion (a Master System/Genesis/etc. emulator). And something like the "Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows." This would mean downloading games' ROM files, though, which is illegal.

If your looking for good deals on games and game consoles, I'd recommend trying half.com. It's a side website to Ebay that offers the lowest prices on games and consoles I can find besides going to swap meets. Thanks to half.com, I've been slowly expanding my video game collection every week.
