I just got the go-ahead from the chair of FurFright, so for the first time, I will be applying dermagraphics in the Dealer's Room at FurFright 2008. This will be BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. If you're going to FF, and you want to go under the needle, here's what you should do.
Contact me via email (Fossil - at - JurassicBeauties - dawt -com) WELL BEFORE the con and have a good idea of what you want to get inked into you, where you want it, etc. and I can give you a ballpark estimate of how much it'll run you, though if you get to the con and change stuff around, it might cost more/less. If it's your first tattoo, please make sure you have an abundance of testicular fortitude. I repeat, this is by appointment only, so if you want to get on the list, you have to email me. Can't say that enough.
ALSO please note that you won't be able to enjoy the con's swell new waterpark after you've been tattooed, so if you plan on getting wet, do so before you come see me.
Additionally, you won't be allowed to get tattooed if you've been drinking alcohol or are under the influence of any questionable substance, or are anemic.
There's going to be a consent form for you to sign, and everything on the form will be explained to you in person, some of which I've just gone over. Just letting you know.
In the dealer's room, I'll be doing tats on arms, legs, necks, backs, things like that. If it's a tattoo that requires any sort of exposed nudiebits, I'll be retreating to more private areas to perform the tattoo. Also, if any tattoo requires the subject to be stretched out/laying down, I'll probably be doing that in my own quarters as well, due to limited space in the dealer's room.

I've been thinking of getting my SF logo on my upper arm someday... I'd have considered getting it from you, but I'm not going to FF... and there's plenty of "ink joints" where I live.

Mine is pretty simple, but I really like the design. I plan on using the full-blown logo (metallic) if I can. I was also planning on putting my birth year under it. When I draw a pic, I always put a small version of my logo and the last 2 digits of the year (in this case '08). I thought it'd almost be like marking me like marking my artwork.
Beats anything else I could think of... =p
Make something that accents the part of your body that it's going on. Don't think of it as a decal, think of it as an accent of what you've already got. That helps the design process greatly. Placement of the tattoo plus what the design is will really make it a part of you, and not just something 'slapped on'.

A Shoulder is a good spot, stays pretty constant throughout life. And it's a good place for a first-time tattoo.
well iv been thinking about a tat but i have concerns and im a needle-phobic. so far everyone has said that if you are at all worried about it you shouldnt get one so im gona hold off. cant wait to see though, you should get more of beedles face paint if he is doing that again

As for the possibility of the lolworthy tattoos that can come from furries getting inked, believe me, I know it's likely that at least one of them will ask for something absolutely crazy, and if they do, I'm gonna say no, and ask them to think it through before asking me again.

I'm seriously considering a phoenix tattoo on my back, but I've had a really hard time coming up with the design. I won't be ready for it at Furfright, but I will definitely keep you in mind when I am. :)

well since now i have no idea if im goin to FF, i was wondering how much it would cost to get that *points up* on my back (just in the center not extreamly huge) i didnt design it but the artist said i could put it on my back as long as i sent pics lol.
i also want to sketch things out for myself but when i go to do it i cant think of anything or its too sappy or retarded and i kill it.
and for size im goin to say about a size of a sheet of paper... i think thats 11 in? ....ill just say a foot lol
