I wanna get in on the closed beta and test it out first, if it's as good as they say I might drop some money down on a Rocket Raccoon pack.

I'm giving the game a shot, but I've been rather sad that Marvel did this instead of an MMO.

Honestly.... No MMO can kill WoW, so a multiplayer action RPG is really the way to go, since the public is largely disgusted with how Diablo 3 turned out.

Guild Wars 2 would disagree. :p

Well GW2 certainly didn't kill, or put much of a dent in WoW's armor..... But yeah, I suppose they were pretty darn successful, all things considered. It's a good game.

Actually, from what I've been hearing, WoW has been slowly loosing players for awhile now. I believe they reported losing 1,000,000 players last year.

It seems the main issue is that WoW is starting to show it's age. People who take a break, and play newer MMOs end up having a hard time getting back into it, because it lacks features that are standard these days.

IF we're gonna have a super hero MMO, I'd personally prefer to have CoH back.
I miss CoH.

Deadpool also has the best lines, some ridiculously fun game play, and is probably better designed than some of the mainstay heroes. Also, the mini-narrative going on about his gear made every newly dropped piece worth reading.

In the beta and it's pretty good! Has a few rough spots in it like some powers being a bit lame and getting stuck on things while running around. But, I can see myself playing it on and off once it goes live.

If I can play as Shatterstar, Forge, Cable, Domino, any of the Runaways, or the Thunderbolts... or hell, I'd be satisfied with War Machine, I'm in. <3

Picked up the X-Factor pack, but I'll be maining Hulk in a Mr Fixit outfit with the bonus "bucks" or what not. Though, if the Fixit tux gets picked for Hulk's next costume, I might have to switch up. You gotta be swank when you smash. Anything else I might say about the game could get the bun swarmed by pissed off OSI agents, enforcing the NDA.

Err, SHIELD. Sorry, been watching a lot of Venture Bros to get ready for the new season.

I might if I had a better comp, but there's no way it would run on my laptop. That, and a world filled with multiple versions of the same character -or worse several of the exact same character- isn't something I want in a game like this (can you just imagine several hundred Hulks, in the same city?). It would be better as an individual game for people to buy and play by themselves, since City of Heroes already has something like this; only with customizable characters.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to play as Deadpool ("POW! POWPOWPOWPOWPOW! Hey, I just shot you! Isn't it neat?!") -or as I like to call him, "Spider-Man on crack"- I just don't want to play a game with several hundred of the same guy (or girl, raccoon, etc) running around. And you know they can't have the Hulk as strong as he's supposed to be, or the game would be broken.

So, while it sounds like a cool concept, I'll pass. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go back to playing Thief 3.
