Hey guys! After a little poking and prodding from some friends, I've decided that maybe our group needs a mascot. Or a pair of them. I have decided to go with one male and one female, just to make things even out. If there's enough demand, perhaps there can be a herm/intersex one as well. Regardless, it was pointed out to me that it would be fun to have a blushing and bare babe and boy for people to draw, just for us. So I have decided to hop to it!
But before we get to that point, we've got to decide what kinda critter they're gonna be!
To keep things from being too overwhelming I've decided to narrow it down to the following twelve options. My criteria was that the list could not consist of more than a dozen choices, it had to be composed of the most popular types of animals in furrydom, they all had to be mammals*, and the list had to include bats because I am biased. ;p So! In alphabetical order, your Embarrassed Naked Furries Mascot can be a:
Bat
Canine
Deer
Feline
Fox
Mouse
Otter
Rabbit
Raccoon
Red Panda
Skunk
Squirrel

I actually came close to doing so but I figured that would be too similar to mice to be a separate choice.
Plus everyone knows you're THE embarrassed naked rat. *pantses*

Because it's furry and it's awesomest.
That and I feel like people here are biased towards bats. :V
But while mammalian dragons ARE awesome, the vote does have to go towards something on the list.
as usual, marsupials get left out, despite the fact that you've got characters like Mangusu, Oz, Duncan and Flux representing the fandom in tons of videos and dance contests and stuff.
