Hello everyone. Do you remember last year I was selling I Has Fluff shirts? ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8962840/ ) Sadly Sold Out Well, this year at What The Fur 2013 I will be selling another shirt design, two in fact. Tentacle Love and Please fill with Yiff shirts. I will be selling both shirts at the con for $30. They are all limited edition, so I will only be printing these once. Any left overs will go to people who wish to buy them online ( they will be a bit more expensive due to shipping and handling ).
Sizes available for both shirt designs: Small, Medium, Large and X-Large.
The shirt company Im dealing with right now made pretty good design-on-black shirts, except for a few of them. Poor quality control. I'm going to call them and see if there is anything I can do about it. Their website said that they will redo them or give me credit. I spoke to someone on the phone ( very very thick indian accent ) who said that they can't do anything about it. Ill quote them on what they said on their Refund Policy on their website if they give me any bullshit. Thank god its a local company about 30 minute drive from here.
The I Has Fluff shirts were made in an American company. Since Im in Canada now, I have to deal with a Canadian printing company instead or it will cost me twice as much to print shirts from another country.

So yeah, doing LOTS of tentacle porn. Lots of tentacles having their way with men, woman and herms, lots of cum and inflation and bondage. Yay. Im surprised that they are not getting that much attention. Drawing flat out explicit porn is not really my style ( as many of you can see ), but Im just trying it out, letting my clients commission me to have me draw what they want, and most of the time, each drawing its different in itself, allowing me to explore some various poses and views. Sadly, they are not getting a lot of notice. Maybe they are not as good as other artists?
I would love some feedback on my tentacle drawings: what they need, what they can do without, if they are good or bad or if I should stop doing them entirely 0.o; Anything will do. Critiques help artists grow.
I don't plan to draw hardcore porn most of the time. I do plan to get back into narrative stories and emotional events. Thats what Im good at. Everyone goes through a stage where they do nothing but porn or something different then what they are know/used to. Ill get back into the swing of things after Im done with a few more commissions. Hey, its work and it keeps me busy and rather entertained! (happy)

I followed yas because you made some tremendous heartfelt story pieces, and I love your style, sort of like a fluffy comic book style.
As for the mature stuff, they are fun to read when there are stories attached. Not much of a fan for most adult work regardless of artist. I think you would need advertise or tell people to spread the word that you are doing adult work if you are trying to get more viewers of that particular sort.
I am going to be the big pointy stick in the mud and say that sometimes your more emotional stories actually deter me from even viewing some of your art, because... because feels. They are really well done. They just get me all huffed up and teary... that might not mix well with adult work.

I do try to spread the word for my adult artwork, but it always turns out the same way. I made a separate website for my erotic drawings and stories. Haven't touched it that much due to the lack of motivation to continue to do erotica. Its different for me - doing emotional stories and images relating to sex. Its a bit challenging since I dont want to repeat the same story twice. And being in the furry fandom for so long, I wanted to do erotic stuff as well
So when I see it, I just brush it off and ignore it
I am here for all the fluffs and cuteness
and the emotion in the majority of your art work
your general porn/smut I don't mind, but things that start involving fetishes like the tentacles, hyper, micro, lactating/inflation I tend to ignore and not bother to look at

The first commission you ever gave me was the beach story one. It was the first time I drew your character. And from your character's constant obsession with roosters/cocks, its a harmless play on words and topic ( from time to time ), in which I very much enjoy drawing.
Everyone is different. I was just trying to reach to another kind of audience.
Everyone's fetishes or interests are different, some more popular than others. I focused on the tentacle stuff because its a small interest I have and I wanted to experiment on it a bit more.
Anyway, yeah, lots of people have all kinds of fetishes and draw what ya're into cause you'll do better at it. I just didn't know if tentacles per se were popular.
More likely, your watchers arent into hardcore tentacle porn which is why it hasnt gotten mega attn. It probably takes awhile to get new fans after ya've started a new style.

Personally I would like to see a tshirt like the "I has fluff" since the yiff and tenticles are more adult.
Which as nice as the yiff and tenticle tshirts are, I am not comfortable wearing adult themed/ hinted tshirts. But thats my own personal thing.
Not into tenticles and the "yiff" may give the wrong message to some furrys... x.x sorry if thats a downer..
Have you seen those furry shirts of:
- a feral fox with a word bubble above his head and inside it there is a picture of a rooster? Whats another word for rooster?
- two huskies, one of them sniffing the other one's butt. Harmless but furries do have perverted imaginations. LOL
Those are some of many suggestive shirts that only furries will get and understand. Furries already have a somewhat poor reputation as being a "fetish" entirely or worse. Some people look at my emotional and cute artwork and call it bestiality art.
Everyone has different tastes in shirts. I myself wont be caught wearing one of those "Hentai-Nurse" shirts or "Re-Elect Bush" shirts. Everyone has different tastes. No harm done.
You surprised me some months ago (Halloween?) with some horror/nightmare sort of pictures - you can do that just as well as love.
The tentacle porn - it's sort of obvious that you find it funny rather than sexy - it's an old meme - and i think you're doing right by it - sexy with tongue in cheek - like the girls comparing their cocks! ^_^
Obviously more folks will look at at a "sexy" picture than one of someone washing dishes...But you can do sexy and washing dishes both romantic - full of feeling, uncertainty, all that. So i think - Go with the heart issues you do so well - and - break out - do some humour - some over the top pics taking the stuffing out of furry memes if you want...
Personally, if i want to see sexy art from you i would want it to be romantic...but that's my own preference.
Commissions are fun in that they allow us to walk in others shoes, try other moods, stretch out - that's all good.

I did some research before doing the tentacle images, both in and out of the fandom. The old Japanese painting of the Fisherman's wife being subdued by an octopus was the FIRST sexual tentacle image. After that it slowly bloomed into tentacle monsters having their way with preteens Tentacles can be looked at in MANY ways. Tentacles can be looked at as a symbol of curiosity, humor, exploration and/or rape. It all depends on the person who has an interest in it. From my clients in this tentacle project and before, I got a lot of variety.
You might be surprised that there might be a "fetish" for someone washing dishes. LOL! Yes, going back to Erotica, I was trying to interact emotion and sex into one. Its a bit harder than it looks because you are dealing with one of the strongest human emotions and mixing it with other emotions. Its like a rapid river. It got to the point where Im just running out of ideas as well as the mental drain it has on me to create something real and relatable. My adult website is collecting ALOT of dust. The last journal there that I posted was from 2011.
You do really good sexy art. Its not explicit, but suggestive. Lots of round woman in your gallery. They are nice to look at, almost like vintage pinups and kinky situations for the mind to work on. I know another artist I adore and she does very cute images. Very very cute to the point where you almost get a sugar rush by just looking at her characters. She doesn't do full out porn, but pin-up nudity. She calls herself a "pin-up" furry artist. Would you call yourself the same since most of your works are pin-ups/suggestive?
Im flattered that you think that my artwork is 99.99% great with a very minor chance of .01% error. But if I was really like that, no one would complain or give me feedback on my art and I would be swimming in commissions to the point where I dont NEED a service job to support myself. I don't see my artwork as THAT high. I have a higher percentage for error in my works than you think. You and I do almost the same type of artwork: traditional inks. Sometimes it comes out right, other times it gets fucked up. Same goes with topic too. Hits and Misses. I am trying "hard" with the adult stuff, but so far Im not making much of an impact. My style is not cut out for porn or kinky images. I'm not complaining.
Japan has some history of proto-anthro in previous centuries, as does Europe. As did early SF/Fantasy - the idea of anthro/furry as a separate thingy is only about 20 yrs old - i'm not sure if that idea should be encouraged....The original anthero comic book art such as Albedo, Usagi, Xanadu, TMNT was just part of the independent comics scene....
i do post a lot of pin-up style art right now, with a nod to the history of that, but the vast majority of my time was doing animation art for children.
The adult stuff i do now is sort of being free to do art for folks who aren't 4 - 14 yrs old. Nearly 30 yrs of that - before and during that i did sf/fantasy illustrations and fine art etc etc.
i'm working on some graphic novels - one is quite serious (Emma and Ash), then a short story, likewise serious - harrowing emotions, - the next project is an x-rated medieval comedy along the lines of Oscar Wilde's "The Importance Of Being Earnest"....we're human - this whole world is our life - i don't think we should limit ourselves to being mere caricatures of ourselves. i'm just as much a fine artist, fractal artist, musician, poet etc etc.
i started doing pin-up art of rounder ladies back when it was unthinkable. Women with curves were not to be seen - ick, gross, ugly. i rebelled against that - i sort of have a feminist background, but just life experience with friends of every shape - the bullshit commercial images had to be opposed....,
Some years later the BBW thing like Furry caught on - all cool as long as it's about freedom....
i post mostly pin-up art. i don't mind being thought a pin-up artist. from my side - i'm a novelist, some times humorist - anthro is one form i use.
i tend to think of your art as rather perfect not because every line meets just so, but because your intention, mood, and style all come together to convey a story, mood impression.
Re adult commissions - "Drake Fenwick" 's style is sort of cartoony, light handed and yet he can do sexy stuff - again sort of ink-style stuff - i think you can do what you set your mind/attitude to - that's already shown. You rock in lots of styles.
