This flu is scaring me..

like, legitimately scaring me. I've slept most of today and while on ibuprofen I'm well enough to walk around and even drive to the store (still not sure how I managed that one because I can barely remember doing it), once the meds wear off and the fever comes up it's around 102 and 101. I just woke up unable to move save for shivering because of how cold I felt and I can't stop gasping for breath.
The sore throat I can deal with... being unable to walk well and being dizzily cold/hot alternatively? Nope. This is the scariest feel I've ever had.... ;n;

That really needs to be looked at because of the couple of serious strains of flu going around.
flus hapen all the time here, even when I get shots, which is why I don't bother anymore
if you take a cold bath, it can help
I'm so sorry you have to go thru it...it was hideous and took days and days to fade away...hang in there!!!
q__q Don't get too worried about it, it may only make things worse. Try to take it easy, stay hydrated, eat when you can.
Hope you will feel better soon.
This one sounds nasty, but as people have said, rest, fluids, ibuprofen, and cold cloth on the forehead if the ibuprofen isn't doing enough. (I did that many years ago, when I had a particularly bad flu. It made things slightly more tolerable.) Hope you get over it soon though.
Just relax, rest and drink a ton of water. A bad flu can last between 3 days and 1.5 weeks. Hydration is important and so is REST.
Don't drink hot anything when the fever is up. Drink room temperature water. Tap even. It'll help majorly with regulating your body tempurature, and doesn't do too much to a sore throat.
might not work for everyone but i can get rid of some pretty bad colds/flu this way and within a day or 2
On the flip side of this, speaking as a pamperer, sometimes it's nice to have someone you care for who's sick, that you then pamper completly. *nods sagely*
<<-- Pamperer. >_< (but it's nice to be pampered in return every now and then ^^ )
*Hugggles* All the good advice has already been given, so here's best hopes that this sickiness leaves you as quickly and quietly as possible!
