100 Truths Meme

⭐️ be rootin, be tootin, and by god be shootin ⭐️ I did this back in highschool when I was around 15-16. After five years I want to redo it and see where my priorities lie. c: These are 100 truths about me!
1. I went to court and paid myself to legally change my full name.
2. I still have relatives who refuse to call me Salem.
3. I am female bodied but prefer to be called 'he' in the fandom. I'm genderfluid among people I trust.
4. I have little to no shame on the internet anymore.
5. Yet I have never, nor will ever post naked pictures of myself on the internet.
6. I'm gradually learning to have better self-esteem and to relate better to my body.
7. That being said, I did identify as ftm for years and was considering hormone therapy.
8. I mostly blame a 'friend' who lied to me about transitioning for turning me off to the idea.
9. I'm also very glad for that because I think it's important to like who you are even before you transition.
10. I'm somewhat preachy and teachery. I wanted to be a teacher.
11. I have debated becoming an author but big projects scare me.
12. I'm terrified that I'll lose all steam for Kiss the Rain and never finish it. That fear drives me forward to complete it.
13. I've been drawing for all my life.
14. I never expected to be drawing porn. I used to blush at drawing any naughty bits.
15. poshfox is to blame for getting me into porn.
16. My parents know about my job and support it.
17. I have an adoptive father who I love more than my biological father.
18. I was the product of a polygamous relationship.
19. I have two half-brothers; one is 21 and the other is 8.
20. I have a tendency to find a stray animal in october every year.
21. I love musicals and theater but I don't consider myself actor material.
22. I'm ridiculously stage-frightened but I can actually manage a crowd fairly well.
23. I often ask questions in class and have a very particular 'loud' voice only for those moments and for presentations.
24. Otherwise I can go a day without talking. If I had to lose an ability I'd be a mute.
25. That being said, I love singing.
26. I think that 20's actresses and fashion were fucking beautiful.
27. I often feel like I was born in the wrong time period but I can't decide on a time I'd fit into better.
28. Swing music is my crack.
29. I've never had a friend with a car. [random segue]
30. I've been driving for three years. I've seen two wrecks happen in front of me on the highway and barely escaped them but I've never been in a wreck myself. -knocks on wood-
31. I'm a member of the bdsm community and am a bottom switch.
32. I love horses and hope to be an equine therapist.
33. I'm very close to finishing my requirements for a BS in psychology.
34. Until last semester [due to socal-emotional-health reasons] I had a 4.00 gpa.
35. I'm in several honors societies but I've never gone to a meeting.
36. I'm not sure if I'm an introvert or an extrovert anymore.
37. I've moved across the country twice but I've never been outside of the US.
38. The biggest baggage I carry is often my parents', not my own.
39. I'm highly empathetic. It's not always a good thing.
40. I love ASMR videos.
41. I can sew and have made numerous costumes and clothes.
42. I collect bones, fur and feathers. My most prized is a mummified hummingbird.
43. My heritage is mainly native american and Irish.

45. I'm scared of dentists. Quite legitimately, usually.

I really really don't associate well with most of them. I always feel weird that I'm the one furry who is not obsessed with sex and YET I'm the porn artist. It's like... because I have an outlet for my urges I don't constantly think about it.
Most furries are nice people, to be fair, but in person I often get this feeling of alienation. Like everyone expects me to be murrypurry but I'm not. XD
Does that make sense?
I guess I just... like animals and I like animal people... but I don't really think of myself as a sex-obsessed yiffer.

Also, while the 20's had some pretty awesome things going on, the style of the 40's and 50's can't be beaten. All those lovely shirts, dresses, flat-heeled shoes and awesome hats. The sound of old time shoes against a stone floor as someone is walking is almost a erotic experience for me
